Donkey's Back
Its good to see that my co-conspirators kept The Aurora active in my stead as I was doing the turkey thang down yonder in The Bluegrass State. Nice work fellas. Hope all had a nice Thanksgiving. Havent read any news in about 5 days so Ill just wing it on some current events.

Yeah sorry about that killa...I just sat around and ate all week-weekend...I haven't gone to work since Wednesday of last week but I am well rested...Since you are listing some talking points, here are some of mine:
The Mets are building a championship team
The Giants stink (and my Jets are worse)
Family Guy is the best show on television
JG couldn't get laid with a fist full of fifties at a Shriner convention
JG couldn't get shagged if she were a carpet at the barefoot festival. (Just made that up...thumbs up or down?)
I like the Giants. Ok so they lost yesterday. I think they are the best team in the NFC East.
The Mets can buy/trade/blow the farm system for anyone they want. The mound is what counts, not Carlos Delgado and that overblown chump in CF. (ducking)
BTW, I like King of the Hill better than Family Guy. And I used to like Futurama better than those 2. And the Simpsons was really great until Season 11.
Season 7 of the Simpsons is my favorite (comes out on DVD December 13)
BTW again, 1st half of season 4 of Family Guy comes out on DVD tomorrow.

Dallas has a better team but that's not saying much...
The Mets already have good pitching...If you look they were in the upper half of the NL last year. Soriano is on the way and it's still possible Manny will be w/us so I think you are looking at a pretty good team...Here's the opening day line up sans Manny (and w/my touch of course hoping against hope) :
1.) Reyes
2.) Soriano
3.) Wright
4.) Delgado
5.) Floyd
6.) Beltran
7.) Milledge
8.) Piazza or Mollina
9.) Martinez

Just got through reading a MLB rumor column, said Minyana doesn't want Soriano (and other than Lastings Milledge, the Rangers don't want your trash HAHA), but Manny might get traded there (for Milledge amongst others).

Too bad Piazza is gone, platooned with a younger catcher he can still be a very productive in the 8 spot, and as we have discussed ad nauseum his defense is blown out of proportion considering the pitchers hes caught for in his career. Id hate to see what happened to Mattingly happen to Mikey Baseball.
Only liked 2 Yankees ever - Donnie Baseball and Jim Spencer. Ruth doesn't count.
Jim Spencer was talking about steroids way back when...It got him traded I think.
