Whether or not our Civil War was really over states right which it was isn't in question...It did directly end slavery and there is no question about that.
Actually, war didn't end communism, but it could have if we had fought for it. Instead we allowed it to spread, and had to live under the fear of the ussr for 50 years until the great one got into the game. That's right, it was Reagan, with an assist from Mike Eruzione, who did in the evil empire!
Theres actually quite a few novels out there about alternative endings to WW2. If I could read Im sure they would be interesting. From a strictly numeric standpoint, Adolf wouldve had quite a task ahead of him to match the death toll under Uncle Joes reign, and the geo-political unstability his "policies" created . Culturally Im not so sure I would enjoy saurkraut pizza or braut flavored Guiness.
Just kidding bout Kamchatka...actually very easy to defend and Ive been known to launch quite a few offensives from there back in the day, however their Vodka is crrap. Thanks for the kind words...besides for the Hall and Oates thing (Rhino is with you on that one)you seem to have good taste.

That sign is true only in that war ended fascism.
The other points one could take exception to.
I could go into a big thing about states' rights pre-civil war and then launch into some big thing about China, Cuba and North Korea, but I won't...
By the way, speaking of ending fascism, why don't one of you animals do a post about, 'What if Germany had Conquered All of Europe'?
You can imagine the constant struggle the U.S. would have in a situation like that.

Dont forget about Balboa... "I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change."
"I will break you" "You will lose"

You know, Stalin was actually pretty nice about the whole WWII thing.
After the war, he allowed the West to have half of Berlin and half of Germany; he certainly didn't have to do that.
He could have taken all of it and there really isn't anything we could have said or done to change things.
Of course Germany is pretty socialist as it is, so I guess he pretty much got what he wanted anyway.
But look what he did in Kamchatka...very tough to defend in Risk.
Hahaha.
On another note:
Have I told you guys recently how much I LOVE this blog?
I love you, I love you, I love you. Really.
Seriously, I feel like it's one of the best blogs, because it's both serious and real but it's also very funny.
