Where am I?

Is this America? I've asked this question before, and i'm asking again. If this is America, how come i don't recognize it? Today I heard for the first time the story of Casey Nethercott. Maybe i'm behind in my news reading, but i don't know how i missed this one. Apparently Mr. Nethercott removed some illegal aliens from his ranch, after giving them cookies and blankets, and they sued him. They said they were victims, and because Mr. Nethercott had an "illegal" firearm, he lost, and was convicted of a crime. Mr. Nethercott is now in jail, and these two illegal aliens own his ranch!! If i didn't know it was true, i wouldn't believe it! Why do these people get to sue anyone? Why do they have any rights at all? Why wouldn't the ACLU come to the aid of the American citizen who's civil liberties have been violated? (ok, just kidding on that last one). This is the craziest story I've ever heard, and unfortunately it's true. I tell you what, If i'm a rancher in Texas, and I get some illegals tresspassing on my property, I'm just killing these guys and feeding them to the buzzards in the desert.

I couldnt believe this when I started reading it so I did some digging and unfortunately the rabbit hole goes deeper. Heres some info on the lawyer or "legal type" if you will in this case. Seems to me he has made a nice profit from hate.
