Stuck on Stupid

In this article, David Limbaugh hits the nail on the head on two different points. First of all he points out that the democratic establishment is "stuck on stupid" because they hate Bush so much that they have failed to come up with any other strategy or idea except to attack him, and secondly, and more disturbingly, he points out that the republican leadership is "stuck on stupid" because they are afraid to stick to the ideals that got them elected in the first place. People try to give B.J. Clinton credit for the social reforms during his presidency, they ignore the Contract with America that led to those reforms, which was championed by Newt Gingrich. The "Contract" led to a republican revolution and helped to wrest control of congress from the dems for the first time in decades! You would think the winners would stick to the ideals that got them into power, but even Newt himself has let us down. Bush was elected as a conservative, not a big spending liberal, but you can hardly tell from the way he has enlarged the size of government in the last few years! If the republican leadership doesn't shift back to the right, fiscally and socially, we're going to be looking at another president Clinton, and i'm not sure this country can survive that!

Great points. Mark my words b4 this is said and done the media will twist the phrase "stuck on stupid" and use it against bush somehow.

I hate to say it but on the Gingrich/Billary topic, I think you guys are dead wrong and probably part of the problem. Why, when a Dem & a Republican come together to work on an important issue, would you diparage it offhand. Do you realize that this is what you are critizing the Dem's for doing to Bush...just whacking because he exists. Beleive it or not some of the Dem's views are as valid as your own...and some of their other agenas are as half baked as the Republicans. If we are ever going to be whole, we need more working together and less bickering. I applaud Gingrich and Hill for trying to work together despite their obvious differences...or is health care not an important issue? Go ahead and whack me now; I expect it from you. But admit that constantly whacking Democrats isn't much different than them knocking Republicans. Who says partisan politics doesn't work anyway?

Hey nutz, i'm glad you're expecting it, because here it comes. I'm not whacking her because she exists, or newt for no reason! Health care is an important issue, hillary's socialist ideas however are not the answer! Newt giving legitimacy to a hillary presidential run doesn't do anything except hurt the country! do u think it would be a positive thing to have a socialist in the white house? didn't we learn from fdr? I'm not constantly whacking democracts, in fact if you actually read the post, you would realize that i'm whacking Bush more than anyone! Is he a democrat? well i know it's hard to tell these days, but no, he's not! you're head is 4 times too big, but obviously it's mostly empty! try reading before criticizing, and also realize that one of the links i put in there is from SUSAN ESTRICH, she might be a communist!!!! and i'm agreeing with her on something!!! wake up!

First of all you are both pretty predictable...You want everything both ways(and I am pretty sure that you go both ways)to associate belief by linking w/radical thinking you read on the internet but at the same time you accuse others of being socialists. Cracka please, you embarrass yourselves. First of all healthcare for everyone isn't socialist, it's christian and moral. Would you call the twelve apostles socialists because they lived and preached from a community that took care of the elderly, sick and the poor the same way they did themselves? Donkey-pue, you say that one of the ways the Libs attack bush (something you could never do w/your small pecker) is by calling him stupid? But then you point out some of the stupid things that you think he has done...good work there Sherlock. You are so highly evolved that you must make all the amoebas that you hang w/jealous. By the way so you can take this in through your fleshy outer membrane...The American Heritage Dictionary defines amoeba as follows - Any of various one-celled aquatic or parasitic protozoans of the genus Amoeba or related genera, having no definite form and consisting of a mass of protoplasm containing one or more nuclei surrounded by a flexible outer membrane. It moves by means of pseudopods.
Yup that is a pretty accurate definition of the type of person who couldn't argue his way out of a paper bag without dropping the F-bomb without shitting himself. You are clever, I like you because you are so cute. Now get on your Rhino and hopefully you will make it home...Please hide if you see a green truck come upon you with the hopper running and the blade a flying...I wouldn't want you to end up like James Woods in Once Upon a Time in America...

take it easy tony soprano..just bcuz you work in rubbish removal doesnt mean everybody has got to be whacking everybody. take of your john lennon hippie rose colored glasses off and maybe you could see the difference in the arguments. the dems never have anything constructive to say its always bush is dumb, racist, evil etc etc without offering any viable solutions, and as far as working together its the same thing...how come when the dems controlled congress bipartisanship didnt exist, their thinking was they were duly elected and didnt have to share power and they were right, yet when they lose control of congress they want to change the rules...the big babies. as far as working together get real...its photo opps for all involved at best..backstabbing double crossing at worst. bush brings teddy "double scotch" kennedy in on the education bill and is rewarded by the tubby drunk by being accused of knowing beforehand of 9/11 and doing nothing to prevent it. bush brings bubba in to help with not only the tsunami and katrina relief effort but also to help repair his disgraced legacy after leaving office in a cloud of shame and scandal, and then immediately is rewarded for his "bipartisanship" by bubba going on the george the greek midgets show and attacks him. real classy guy. sad thing bush is allowing it to happen..to the victor goes the spoils fuck these liberal numbskulls. bush needs to man up and start laying the smack down on these foo's

Hey nutz, i know you're pretty new to the whole "reading" and "writing" thing, but your last comments made no sense. However i will say this to you. Hillary is just about a socialist, maybe a commie. Her health care plan was a plan for socialized medicine. It failed because socialism fails. (see USSR vs Reagan) Now if you think socialized medicine is the way to go, you should go stand in line up in canada and wait 11 months for an aspirin like they do there. Me, i don't ever go to the doctor, but when i do, i like knowing i have access to the best doctors, nurses, medicines, that money can buy. And because we don't have socialized medicine, even poor people in this country have access to great doctors and health care in general. i will let the donkey defend himself, but i will say this, his points about you and the dems is dead on. It's always the republican party that has to give in, the examples he cited are only a few, what about the supreme court? Bork was one of the most qualified jurists in history, and he got knocked out because he wasn't "mainstream" ginsburg was a lawyer for the aclu, and she got no resistence!! Biden told her not to answer tough questions and then DEMANDED those same answers from Roberts!! If the republican leadership stopped bending over for the dems, it would force them to work with us, instead we have traitors like mccain who make deals instead of using the "nuclear option"

Dont get me started on the Canadians...I never liked them, "Dat piece of chit up there, I never liked them; I never trusted them. For all I know they had me set up, and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed. But that's history. I'm here, he ain't."

Rhino, actually I have been sick and you are retarded if you think that you get the best medical care or even the same medical care as rich people...Good luck to you. If you do you better have insurance and if you don't work for the government, good luck affording everything else that you pay for when you do get sick. Don't be ignorant and toss other people aside because you have no knowledge...To me that is ignorant and beside that it's insulting. Just stick to what you are go at...? I forget what that is but since you fancy yourself a writer, why don't you tell me where you have been published before and I'll pick it up...

Mookie McFly said...

Also reading newspapers & bio-epics doesn't make you a well read person...Try a novel once in a while but don't get upset when you don't understand all of the words...that's what dick-tionaries are for...and I am sure you will need one.

Anonymous said...

Did you say try a novel? well aint that a well um novel idea. it takes more than a jackie collins romance novel to make it at thunder road pnutz. reading is for suckers...telepathy is where its at.

I don't "fancy" myself anything, and i think that's a pretty fruity thing to say, but in any event, the best health care in the world is available in the U.S. on average, the best health care in the world is available in the U.S. We have the best of everything here, not just health care, but for this argument, i'll say this. I'm sure some the wealthier people get better healthcare than the poorer people, just like they get to live in bigger houses, and better neighborhoods, and drive nicer cars, and send their kids to better schools. It is not a bad thing. if you work hard and you succeed you get better stuff! that's a good thing, not a bad thing. So if i'm a really good doctor, or even a above average doctor, i want to work in the U.S. so i can have the house/car/school etc. Thats why we have the best of everything nutz. Oh, and i'm published at blogspot.com, as i noted already, i know reading isn't a strong suit for you, but check me out. I'm really good. Clearly i have a dizzying intellect.

Mookie McFly said...

I didn't say that we don't have the best of everything...all I said is that it is easy for you to say having never been sick...but besides being an opinionated jackass (no offense Donkey), you also have no experiences to draw on and I do...I am not saying that we have the worst health care either but why not try to improve it? Because as always you are stuck in the status quo and God forbid you try to question something that you have been told by Bill Reilly and his constituents to accept as gold. Don't be a that guy because karma is a bitch and so are you...you'd probably get along great. As for writing, blogs publish everything so I wouldn't brag about that one. As for reading I was an english major in college and graduated from a Jesuit college so don't take me to task or I will beat your A*#. I've been published and not on a blog spot...Beleive it or not there is life outside of the internet...And yes people who work hard deserve their wealth. But do doctors and technicians deserve to be paid exorbinant amounts of money when they come in and diagnose from 15 feet away for antibiotics...and then they send you a bill for $600.00 that your insurance won't cover because they don't cover pre-existing conditions. Oh wait you wouldn't know about that because you haven't ever been sick. How much do you think they charge you for a leg brace or even worse a prosthetic limb. I'll tell you since you don't have a clue, you arrogant fool. It costs more than the most expensive car you could afford...and I'm not talking about expensive cosmetic apparatus. So before you open your unimformed mouth again, do what you're always telling me to do...some research asshole.

Rhino-itall said...

gadfly? anyway, a fake leg is a terrible thing to waste. but it's true i wouldn't know anything about that. I don't really ever get sick, so i wouldn't really know about that either, but i do know this, I wouldn't want to be you, hopping around in some socialist country waiting 4 years for a fake leg! Instead, i'd rather live in the u.s. and pay the equivalent of a small car, and get my shit right away. I would also want to get the best one i could find and afford, not whatever was there. As far as not wanting to improve our health care system, i didn't say that, i just said that socialism is not the answer and newt shouldn't be giving it props. As for your education, I don't know why you wasted your money, i've been schooling you all day right here for free!

Mookie McFly said...

You certainly didn't waste your education because apparently you didn't get one...maybe you can blame Bush for that one and call me a socialist. That is the sperical logic that you subscribe to, right? I know it's late in the day, your grammar, typing and ass is sloppy...but don't allude to me hopping around or I will hop up and down on your your head...you think that holds the little pea you call a brain. Have a good weekend and make sure you rest up because it is on when we return.

PS - this is what the alphabet would look like without Q & R...oh wait I shouldn't reference the alphabet to someone like you.
