Two great articles on how Liberalism is not only trying to destroy this country but succeeding.
Patrick J Buchanan writes: "The real disaster of Katrina was that society broke down. An entire community could not cope. Liberalism, the idea that good intentions and government programs can build a Great Society, was exposed as fraud"
Joseph Farah writes: "The political debate in America between conservatives and liberals usually leaves conservatives thinking they won, but liberals actually moving the country in their direction. "
I doubt Mr Marley ever intended for his song to be a Conservative call to arms to retake America, but Im using it anyways and gonna paraphrase.
Bob Marley sang "Most people think great Government will come from the sky Give you ev'rything, and make ev'rybody feel high But if you know what life is worth You would look for yours on earth And now you see the light You stand up for your right, yeah!"

The fact of the matter is that if only something like 150 people die should we really be making the deal out of it that is has become? I know the mayor said that the number would represent 10,000 people but it sure doesn't look like it...and we have all come to see what kind of politicians we are dealing with in Louisiana. They want us to give them our money but they want to decide how to spend it. If the people of south want to save some self respect they should stop this infighting their helplessness has caused and reclaim some of the responsibility for rebuilding their community. You can quote Marley but I can quote Billy Jean of the fabled Legend of Billy Jean saying, "fair is fair"! The people of our country don't need to feel guilty about their response to this natural disaster (not created by the government even though George Bush talks to God) and the liberals should be ashamed of themselves for trying to make it seem like some sort of catastropic failure.
My bad...typo - catastrophic failure. But I hope you get my point. It would be nice to see a liberal speaking about something they admire about their rivals. And vice versa and then they should both (parties) bow down and kiss the asses of the citizens of our country who continually deal w/adversity much better than any politician could.
