Im sorry I should correct that. Democrats hate successful black people that dont vote for them or agree with them, such as Lt Gov Michael Steele of Maryland. These are the same people that ran "racist" Trent Lott out of town for saying a few kind words for an old mans 100th birthday party...yet when members of their party (a staff member of U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y) commit a felony to disparage a good "black" mans name because he may or may not have financial difficulties, little a peep is heard. Here you have The Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP busy blaming Katrina on a "racist" Bush and probaly sharpening their steely knives as we speak in anticipation of Rita, while an actual case of "The Man" (schumer) trying to "hold" a "brother"(Steele) down and not a word is said, not a rally held, not a march to be well um i guess marched. One of these days soon the divisive, separtist, and racist policies and the arrogant manner in which the dem's take the African American vote for granted will come back to haunt them, and when asked of my prediction for the future of the democratic party I will quote the great Southside Slugger Clubber Lang. My prediction?
PAIN!!!

I agree 100%. I think of successful blacks and how they are outed by the democrats. It just doesn't make any sense.
Well, actually it makes perfect sense...democrats love to be demogouges and who better to use than the black voter?
I'm sure there's no uproar because Steele is obviously one of those "race traitors". You know just like Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, Condi Rice, and most recently Bill Cosby. The democrats have built such a nice plantation, I just don't know why these rabble rousers would want to leave?
"A few kind words"? Lott cited the 1948 Presidential election, in which Thurmond broke from the Democrats and ran as a third party candidate specifically because he was opposed to desegregation.
Why did Lott have to re-open old wounds, if he merely wanted to say "a few kind words"? To top it off, he couldn't explain what he meant by "all these problems over all these years" until, what, the 5th or 6th apology?
Don't forget that people within his own party pressured him to step down, and the Bush administration did little to stop that. And then he was replaced with Frist, who happens to be a buddy of Bush, and Lott has gone on to be a little more critical of the President. Hmmmmm.....
