I Wear Liberals On My Feet At The Beach

The past eight years we never heard the end of how Cheney was lining his and his pals pockets over at the H to the Hova-burton. Heck, when Rhino and I were at the Town Hall over the summer, one of the libs I was engaging in debate outside, even tried using the ol' Cheney is Evil rebuttal as a defense for Obamacare.

Well the funny thing is that facts have a way of getting in the way of liberal talking points. Vice President Dick Cheney did not earn one penny from any business dealings of Halliburton once he took office. Not one penny.

But since dems are so concerned with the potential financial conflicts of interests of our veeps, then I will begrudgingly oblige.

If it wasnt for a blue dress, Al Gore was on his way to being SpirowAgnewed. He flagrantly broke numerous US Laws by not only accepting but actively soliciting donations from foreign nationals. Big no no. They had the phone records, they had the cashed checks, they had him on tape dead to rights. For the record those foreign nationals were by and large Chinese, make a note of that, they'll come into play later.

...also for the record, that same blue dress saved Clinton from being Nixoned.

Now as luck would have it, after losing the 2000 election, Al Gore landed on his feet, and hooked up with a small upstart company by the name of Google. They put him on the board and a plethora of stock options in his pocket. Now I know he invented the internet, but my guess is he wasnt hired for his programming prowess. Just so happens, that Google was having some difficulty gaining access to the Chinese market for years prior to Al Gore's arrival. After his hire, I believe it was about a month before Google was in China. Fast forward to today and Google is returning the favor by spreading his global warming err climate change propaganda. Squid pro row Mr Powers?

But he's a god damn Nobel Prize winner Donkey, show some respect. He is trying to save the planet from all you industrialist capitalist pigs.

Funny you should mention capitalist pigs, because Al Gore when not giving swimming lessons to baby polar bears, just so happens to sit on the board of his very own investment firm, Generation Investment Management, who just so happen to own a very large stake in Camco. Wanna guess what they do? Carbon credits. Yeah thats right, carbon credits, not those Republic credits that are no good out here. Al Gore makes ALOT of money from global warming. Alot.

...and let us not forget the sweetheart deal that Getlive just posted about.

You see what Im getting at here?

A liberal argument that was often made here over the years was that scientists who disagreed with the science of man made global warming were automatically discredited because they once gassed up their SUV at an ExxonMobil station, and yet Al Gore lines his pocket every chance he gets and he is The Green Saint of Altruistic Righteousness in liberal eyes. Nice flop flop on your morality.

In conclusion, Al Gore is a lying opportunistic fear mongering scumbag, and that liberals are full of shit.

"They why are most conservatives so crazy and stupid these days?"

That is the type of comment why I left The Aurora, and the type of comment that will stop now that I am back. More importantly I lost your email, lets do that drink.

Let's get this out of the way right now. The Aurora is both crazy and stupid. We are also racists. We are Neo-this and Neo-that, although I safely speak for everyone here by saying we'd rather be someone important, like an actor. We hate fags, but only because we are hypocrites. We wear brown shirts, not because it's fall or fashionable, but because we raise our arm to Adolf Hitler. Have never met a baby seal, but if I did, I'd club it. I cant even talk about how we feel about the niggers in pleasant company, while I have so many jew jokes to tell. And its after Labor Day, us with our white sheets.

OK, that is us. You win, you pegged us.

What's your deal?

Without using google, what do liberals stand for? The kids? the sick? the poor? the maladjusted? Seriously, pause your Oprah episode for one second and think about what you stand for, because everything you marched against Bush for the past eight years you now ignore. Why is that? Different circumstances or do you really not believe in anything but political power for power's sake?

The Most Important Question Regarding Obamacare...

We are constantly told how grave the health care situation is, and why the dems must pass this legislation immediately, err by August, err by September, err by the end of the year.

I have one question.

If that were true...

Why wont it take effect until 2013?

I Beg To Differ Mr. Tom Petty, But The Waiting Is In Fact Not The Hardest Part

I recently received a phone call that Ive patiently been waiting for the past fifteen years. Well, I have an expression (probably stolen) that a day can be an eternity and a minute too late. A lot can change in them there fifteen years.

The gentleman caller was the New York Giants, and they were offering season tickets. For those unfamiliar, the rumor was that the wait list was twenty to thirty years long. I say rumor, because I had never personally witnessed this natural phenomenon. No one I knew my age had them, it was always someones Uncle or Father's tickets. I have become my uncle's and father's age.

They called, I buy. My grand kids will sing songs about me. End of story.

Things change.

A few years ago, I don't even blink. I buy the tickets. And now, doesn't look like I will. Three words. P. S. L. In lame man's terms. the Private Seat License. Those three words have obviously pissed off about five years of people off the list and priced the other five years away. Can I afford it? Yes. Can I afford it? No. Forty thousand dollars is a lot of fucking money. Oh yeah, that forty large only gets me the right to buy the tickets. Spending $40,000.00 for the right to spend $15,000.00 a year. Break out the calculator Rhino, gonna need some help on that math.

Actually got this one covered. Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent. Do I think I have the right to those tickets? Damn right I do. Watching Dave Brown on a cathode ray tubed small screen smoky Irish pub television, has earned me that right. I deserve it. It is my right to have the privilege of this luxury. This is America. Put that in the motherfuckin' Constitution, cuz ya know damn well Benny F. would be with me on this one. Only one problem...

It costs too much.

Anyone want to loan me $40,000.00? Here's my offer. In return, I will ration you tickets for one game a year (starting in or around the 2013 season), which may or may not include pre-season. I also reserve the right on any games you do not intend to attend the authority to send representatives into your home and change the channel to the Jets or any AFC game of my choosing (this may or may not include the Dallas Cowboys). Furthermore, any and all beer service or hot dog products that I participate in will be automatically reduced my indebtedness on the aforementioned monies at my discretion. Even furthermore, in the event you have children they will by proxy assume any and all debt obligations I may have amassed in our prior and alleged business dealings. And one last thing. Under no circumstances will any or none tickets to the one game a season, starting in or around 2013 and then ever more you may or may not receive... be used on old people.

What Happens When You Raise The Minimum Wage?

Maximum Unemployment

"young voters may prove to have been the key to Barack Obama's victory. Young voters preferred Obama over John McCain by 68 percent to 30 percent — the highest share of the youth vote obtained by any candidate since exit polls began reporting results by age in 1976, according to CIRCLE, a non-partisan organization that promotes research on the political engagement of Americans between ages 15 and 25." source

Dummies!

I Would Move To Texas.....

If I was wealthy enough to be affected by the millionaires tax in NY. I'm a big fan of Austin. Beautiful city, kind of liberal but i'm used to that. I would "summer" in NY because it's hot as hell in Texas in the summertime. Texas has no state income tax at all and I'm a big fan for their governor. In fact I'm hoping he runs for President. I'd vote for him.

The bigger point of course is that taxing the rich doesn't work. It costs states (and countries) tax revenue, jobs, etc. It has been proven over and over again.

Still Waiting...

I was waiting to do a post on the foiled NY/Denver/St.Louis/Illinois terror plots planned for 9/11 until after I heard the comments from The White House. My angle was going to be how they denied there was a "war on terror" or at least said they weren't using the term anymore.(i still don't understand why)I was also going to comment on how the Bush administration set up the Patriot Act (derided by libs) and Homeland Security Dept. (derided by libs...and me) and both were instrumental in uncovering this these plots. I was going to call them hypocrites for taking credit for the successful capture of the terrorists. I had big plans but for some unknown reason the White House/President hasn't made any comments.

Why?

I can't even think of any logical reason why they wouldn't be making any comments.

National Security maybe?....No. the world knows the details.

Is there anything else? Is Obama not happy about the success of H.S. or the Patriot Act because he didn't come up with them? I don't want to believe that.

Is he embarrassed because he said there was no war on terror? ...maybe but shouldn't there at least be some kind of statement from Gibbs or Emanuel? Maybe a joint press conference or statement with Napolitano?

Seriously I can't figure this one out. The only explanations I can think of are really unthinkable.

Shame? Dissapointment that they didn't succeed? Wishing they had a crisis to use? Seriously I don't like Obama and truly believe he's a Marxist but I refuse to believe he wants his countrymen to die in for his own political benefit.

So what's the explanation?

Fra diavolo

Things That Make You Go Hmmm

Lot's of taxpayer money going to a car company which AlGore has a stake in. No wonder he is trying to brainwash the world that the sky is falling...

"Fisker's top investors include Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a veteran Silicon Valley venture-capital firm of which Gore is a partner. Employees of KPCB have donated more than $2.2 million to political campaigns, mostly for Democrats, including President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan group that tracks campaign contributions."

"The awards to Fisker and Tesla have prompted concern from companies that have had their bids for loans rejected, and criticism from groups that question why vehicles aimed at the wealthiest customers are getting loans subsidized by taxpayers."

Get Pissed Destroy!

Time to play the home version of The Donkey Drinking Game. So, if ya ain't got no hooch in your house, best get to the store and pick up a six pack or a bottle, better yet make that a twelve or two.

OK ready?

Here's the deal, the rules are simple so long as you've been reading or watching the news this past summer. Oh yeah, you might need a dictionary and a thesaurus as well, I'll wait. Words are fun, almost as much as drinking so lets gets to bizness.

Here's the deal, we all watched and read the news this summer so everybody should be well aware of the media's coverage of the Town Halls and the Tea Party Protests. This ain't a political game, so it don't matter if you agree disagree or ambivalent or what side of the aisle you be on.

This is about words. Fun words like racists, extremists, teabaggers, fringe, right wing and violent, You get the idea. These are but few of the examples of the fun words used to describe those on the right that dared to oppose the policies of Obama. You read it in the NY Times, you heard it on the Today show. Non stop round the clock on every channel and every newspaper denigrating those that had differing views. Heck, Nancy Pelosi shed a few crocodile tears (or maybe she was shedding) because she was afraid of the big meanies.

Mind you that you could count all the arrests from all the hundreds of town hall meetings and the hundreds of thousands at the 9/12 March on DC on one hand.

Now, crack open your elixir of choice, here's where the game begins. Turn on the TV, open a newspaper, or visit your favorite mainstream media's website and start watching/reading about the coverage of the anarchist left wing socialist neo-agrarian and extremely violent protests in Pittsburgh.

If its even being covered, have your first drink (you better enjoy that one) and then have another drink for every time the media covers the G20 riots in the same manner as they did those of the Tea Parties. Pay close attention to the words. If at anytime they refer to the rioters by a sexually mocking moniker, its a social, everybody drinks.

Ill be over this weekend to drink your leftover booze.

EE-Aw!!!

Milton Friedman said...

"When you start paying people to be poor, you wind up with an awful lot of poor people."

That concept is beyond the grasp of the average mind which means it's beyond the grasp of all liberals. That's not an insult by the way, it's a fact. Only an average or even below average mind would continue to try the exact same things over and over again when they have never worked before.

Ensuring The Permanence Of Poverty

The "post American president"

I wish it had been me who said it. It's really the perfect way to describe Obama. Whether it's his apologies for every misdeed (real or percieved)that has ever happened in this country, his anti-American czars, his obvious disdain for the U.S. Constitution and of course his Surrender to Russia and it looks like probably Afghanistan.

Aurora Atta Boy!

I want to give an Atta Boy to the Donkey for coming all the way out to Long Island this morning and completing his first half century bike ride. It was a good morning, a great day for riding, and it benefited the historical society. Everybody wins.

I think Donkey said his goal is to compete in a sprint distance triathlon with me next year and he's well on his way.

(i might have made that last part up but i think it's a good idea)

Good Job today Donk. It was fun.

ACORN? Who?

"Acorn: nobody gives a shit.I remember the controversy about Acorn's voter registration drive. Acorn was aiming at registering as many people as possible and paid volunteers to do so. Some volunteers defrauded Acorn, filling out forms at McDonalds using the phone book. Acorn, triple checking each registration form, turned the phony forms in, as required, but labeled as such. For this they were accused of voter fraud, although if you think about it these people didn't vote. Now some individuals in Acorn are accused of helping prostitutes or something, a minor story of not much interest except to wingnut conspiracy theorists."

STUPID

Ummmm.....Yeah I'm sure that's it. Just wingnut conspiracy theorists....certainly not the NY Times.

"some individuals are accused of helping prostitues or something"..... STUPIDER

I'm sure that's all it is...just a few bad apples.......What's that? Malkin exposes everyone? Nice.

It Was Probably Only About 75 Thousand...

NY Times?

I'm sure they don't have an agenda or anything. That's why they don't review Liberty and Tyranny. Because you know it doesn't represent main stream America or anything. It's only sold a MILLION COPIES! 5 to me by the way (i bought a few for some people). Of course the way the Times does their math that's only 75,ooo copies....you know, like the Obama care protestors.

Interesting....to me at least.

I was out of town on business for the last few days and so didn't get a chance to do any posts but there's a lot of stuff going on. Here's whats up.

ACORN....being exposed by the top notch investigative reporters at the NY tim...? no? I mean the Washington Pos...? no? Oh it's some independent film makers? You know it doesn't seem like it was very tough to expose these people. I wonder why no one from the MSM didn't figure this out? I'm sure they don't have an agenda or anything. I mean look how they uncovered the whole Van Jones story.

Probably a million people or more marching on D.C. to protest Obamacare. I'm upset that I missed it. My neighbor who is a recently retired NYPD detective went down with a few other cops. He said it was tremendous. He's feeling energized and ready for the next tea party. We've attended 2 together so far and a local town hall. Like me he never went to protests or town hall meetings or anything before but he's more involved than ever because of the unprecedented lurch to the left from this administration.

No surprise here. They didn't and still haven't covered the Van Jones story or the other controversial czars (especially that crazy science czar). They still haven't covered the ACORN story. They're lying about the number of people who showed up in D.C. And that's just stuff from the last couple of days.

9/11/2001

Let us never forget the innocent people who perished on this day 8 years ago. Let us remember that no matter how much we disagree on political issues, we can all agree that America is the greatest country on earth and our freedoms will never be compromised by those who wish this country harm.

Let's Lighten It Up

OK, let's have some fun here. Let's talk FOOTBALL! (Rhino, am I allowed to do that? It doesn't matter, I'm doing it anyway.)

As a New York Football Giants fan, I must say that we will make the playoffs. Notice I didn't say win the division. I say this because of two reasons:

1. The NFC East is the most difficult division once again in all of football.

2. The Giants have a new defensive coordinator coupled with youthful wide receivers.

Superbowl Prediction: New England v.s. Atlanta

Donkey just emailed this to me. Thanks Donk. We eagerly await your return.

GENIUS

FDR All Over Again

"We have learned some things from comparable experiences of the 1930s' Great Depression, perhaps enough to reduce the severity of the current contraction. But we have made no progress toward putting limits on political leaders, who act out their natural proclivities without any basic understanding of what makes capitalism work."

Basically, our President is ignoring the lessons learned from history.

Nothing To See Here...Move Along...

The Van Jones (non) feeding frenzy
By: Byron YorkChief Political Correspondent09/04/09 11:30 AM EDT

From a Nexis search a few moments ago:

Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the New York Times: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the Washington Post: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on NBC Nightly News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on ABC World News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on CBS Evening News: 0.

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama's Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, "Huh?" If you heard that that adviser, Van Jones, had apologized for a number of remarks and positions in the recent past, your response would be, "What?" And if you were in the Obama White House monitoring the Jones situation, you would be hoping that the news organizations listed above continue to hold the line -- otherwise, Jones, who is quite well thought of in Obama circles, would be history.

9/5/09 UPDATE: The New York Times, ABC and CBS hold the line
After the Jones controversy reached a boiling point on Friday, the Washington Post published a story, "White House Says Little on Embattled Jones," on page A-3 of its Saturday edition. But the New York Times remained silent on the story.
Likewise, on Friday night the "CBS Evening News" reported the Jones matter, but ABC's "World News" and "NBC Nightly News" again failed to report the story.

The Case Against Minimum Wage

I have said for years that the minimum wage laws in this country are not only un-American and anti free market capitalism but also hurt the people who they are supposed to help.

Who's working for minimum wage? Unskilled, uneducated, poor, young, etc. These are the people who are the most vulnerable in the job market and they're the ones who are suffering. I don't think it's any coincidence that the minimum wage just went up in July (to 7.25 pr.hour) and teen unemployment has hit an all time record high.

Yes unemployment in general is very high right now (9.7%) but that's not a record. Plus all of these teens are part of that number.

How many of those unemployed teens would take a job for 6 bucks an hour if they could? Well they can't. How about 6.50? sorry it's against the law. 7.15? take a hike buddy.

Just to add on to the drunken rant of getlive last night this is yet another example of how the libs are supposed to be helping the little guy but really they're just helping the big guy and themselves. They say "hey poor people we're looking out for you and forcing your employer to pay you more" but really they're just protecting big business. The big companies can afford to pay their employees a little bit more but their competition (small business) can not.

Of course the lack of competition to big business keeps consumer prices higher than they should be and this also disproportionately hurts the poor but i don't want to get too far away from the original point which is.....minimum wage laws are bad for poor people.

The Big Secret Of The Left

Friday night booze rant.
I just gone done watching Glen Beck tonight which I recorded, and he interviewed David Horowitz, who is an admitted radical of the 60's. Horowitz' parents were card carrying communists and he himself was a radical. He went on to quote Alinski's book "Rules For Radicals" witch we all know Obama is following to the tee. But what I found interesting is Horowitz' comment "The big secret of the left is that it claims to, which is of course the democratic party, it claims to be the champion of poor people, minorites, women, children, when in fact it is the oppressor of women, children and monorities." They use these people and push these people, ie: ACORN and throw them into the fire and when they are opposed the left says we are opressing them. I blame the republican party for not stepping up to fully expose this. Conservitives need to start pointing this out. Horowitz then says "...the democrats are great at pretending to be on your side.." Now I don't know about you but I do not want a communist/socialist society and if you're a democrat and that's not what you signed up for, THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO GET! I'm not even mad at the people who voted for Obama anymore. I know you were duped and I know you're ignorant. It's not your fault. Just admit you made a historical mistake and realize you voted for an ideology that fails.

BECK/HOROWITZ

Catfight..

Stay down Naomi Wolfe.....Stay Down......

Not that you know or care anything about history, but there is a reason why despotisms and apartheid structures create dress codes. The enforcement of such codes plays a crucial role in keeping the structures of tyranny and the enslavement of a people in check (e.g., Maoist unisex clothing had a ruthless purpose). Ms. Wolf, do you really fail to grasp the fact that dress codes in the Islamic world, such as the niqab and the burqa, play a crucial role in keeping the chains of gender apartheid in place, and that this is precisely why the guardians keep them in place?

Proper Perspective on Healthcare

When Bush was proposing a change in Social Security (personal accts) there was an ad being run (i think by AARP) that was very effective in killing it. Basically some old woman had a leak in her sink and was told they needed to tear down the entire house. The message was that Social Security had some leaks but what Bush was doing would destroy everything just to fix a small problem.(clearly this ad was misleading and wrong but that's not the point). Right now we have approximately 10-13 million American Citizens who have "slipped through the cracks" and are uninsured. Thats in a country of 350 million poeple. That is a tiny leak.

We don't need a complete overhaul of the entire health care industry in order to fix that tiny leak. A few small adjustments (free market adjustments in my not so humble opinion) would do the trick.

Politicians who are advocating for a complete overhaul I understand. They want money, they want control. That's ok by me. I believe almost all of them are scumbags no matter the party so it doesn't surprise me. But for regular citizens who are screaming and fighting to give up their liberty I think maybe they just need to get a better look at what we're talking about here.

There is still an industry that is growing and successful, that produces 17% of the Gross Domestic Product, and that employs over 10% of all American workers. The medical industry incorporates more than 820,000 businesses: hospitals, physician's offices, dentist's offices, home healthcare services, kidney dialysis centers, medical laboratories, X-Ray imaging centers, radiotherapy facilities, mental hospitals, physical therapy centers, nursing homes, outpatient surgical centers, dental laboratories, rehabilitation facilities and ambulance services with combined annual revenue of over $1 trillion. It immediately plows most its growing income right back into the economy for wages, and directs additional business to satellite industries such as pharmaceuticals, drugstores, and insurance companies. It even produces billions of dollars in revenues for the medical malpractice trial lawyers. Americans medical care costs more than government programs elsewhere, but it provides better care and better results, the best in the world. American patients, even the destitute, do not give birth in hallways, or wait months for essential diagnostic tests and treatments.

We Won't Listen In to Your Overseas Phone Calls To Terrorists..

But for your own good we're gonna have to arrest you and inject something in your body against your will...

If citizens refuse to comply with isolation or quarantine orders in the event of a health emergency, they may be imprisoned for up to 30 days and fined $1,000 per day that the violation continues.
