2 ÷ 2 = Racism
Just putting this out there...
That Gates and Obama want to put "this" behind us is an admission they were wrong. Shame they weren't men enough.
That Biden was a last second invite shows that Obama is a racist. Think about it. If Biden were black would he have been invited?

Will She Or Won't She?
After this weekend, the question now on everyone's mind is whether she has unofficially launched her bid for President in 2012. I personally think she has, but it depends on Obama's poll numbers in '11 and if dems lose control (or a plethora of seats in '10) but if Obama continues to struggle domestically and abroad then there is no doubt in my mind that Hillary will challenge him in the primaries, and will be in a perfect I told you so position to do so. Classic Clinton how she threw him under the boss this weekend. Good times.

10TH AMENDMENT?
WHAT'S THAT?
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
States Rights....Federalism.....etc.
Has everyone forgotten that it was the states that created the federal government and not the other way around? Has everyone forgotten that before FDR the federal government was tiny compared to state governments? Has everyone forgotten that Obama is not a king and not a dictator (yet)?
Not everyone..............PERRY

Last Chance
Im hurt. Im feeling like a liberal. Our only female reader/commenter (Gary is post-op he dont count) called for celebration and I graciously offered a meet/greet at a local establishment that may or not be classified as a hotel. I was stood up, and it hurts real bad. I will overcome, my people shall perservere, but I am proposing an immediate tax on hoteliers across the board because it will make me feel better.
Maybe Gary Was Right For Once
We cant trust "experts" that get paid for their opinion on climate change. Al Gore's carbon trading firm makes more in one month than Exxon has paid out in 10 years. Just the drop of the cooling bucket.
"Meanwhile, in a distracting sideshow, Exxon-Mobil Corp is repeatedly attacked for paying just $23 million to skeptics—less than a thousandth of what the US government spends on alarmists, and less than one five-thousandth of the value of carbon trading in 2008 alone." link

Perspective
In a recent poll, only 35% of Americans say that they trust Sarah Palin.
On the surface, not a very good number. Until, you compare it Pelosi's measly 24% that is, which you never hear mentioned when Nancy is mentioned in the news. Sarah is "the joke" but head to head I have no doubts that Palin would sweep all 50 states....and Guam.
On the same note, there's been lots of calls and predictions in the media about the death and division of the GOP, and yet despite all the hopenchange and post partisan politics promised it is the DNC that is placing attack ads against its own incumbents.
Rhino called it from the git go, that like fat kids in an unsupervised candy store the dems would get greedy and over reach... and it'd backfire. Big time.
This could get interesting.

HOW LONG WILL IT BE?
before we hear that this guy owes back taxes or got a DWI in 1985? I can't believe the dems will allow a black man to stay out there criticizing them for too long before they resort to character assassination. I'm going to give it........1 more week.

Obama's a Marxist
Well don't take my word for it....actually you can take my word for it but if you're looking for some more confirmation check out what i heard on the Mark Levin show tonight on my way home from work....
If not already painfully obvious to you, let me point out a few things:
(1) Obama's policy agenda and that of the CPUSA are in perfect alignment: more stimuli; green jobs; global warming; public sector jobs; more regulation and, in fact, restructuring of the entire economy; eventual single-payer health care, with the public option being critical to any immediate plan; union-friendly legislation; cutting defense spending; engaging and normalizing relations with the US's mortal enemies like Hugo Chavez, the Castro brothers and the reigning mullah's of Iran; claiming victory in Iraq as their own.

OBAMACARE VS. THE MAYO CLINIC
Mayo Clinic -- upheld by President Obama and other Democrats as a model for reform -- also weighed in on the House bill Thursday, though without the AMA's fanfare. While noting "some positive provisions," it "misses the opportunity to help create higher-quality, more affordable health care for patients. In fact, it will do the opposite," the clinic's policy shop wrote in a statement. "In general, the proposals under discussion are not patient focused or results oriented. . . . The real losers will be the citizens of the United States."

Can there be any doubt Hillary is regretting accepting Sec'y of State? This keeps up Obama is going to have primary challengers.

Cronkite Is Alive
Ok is the body cold enough yet? Can we finally now admit the truth that the Tet Offensive was an unmitigated disaster and military failure for the Viet Cong despite what Cronkite said? He called it wrong and he called it on the side that was against America. Biggest moment in his career and he called it wrong.
Great guy besides that. Let the parades begin.

Government Efficiency
So the government wants to control health car and they claim it will be more efficient. I heard Obama say that it will "save you money". Interesting...
So I heard about the government giving cell phones to the poor. I mean it's practically a constitutional right....isn't it? Kind of like abortion?
Well when I heard about it on the John Gambling show they said the phone company gives the people about 50 bucks worth of cell service and the government pays them 90. I thought it was ridiculous but I thought they were just proposing it. Turns out it's been going on for a while now.
Poor in Colorado may get free phones
Good work if you can get it.

In Other Words, Climate Scientists Dont Know Shit
"Our results imply a fundamental gap in our understanding about the amplitude of global warming associated with large and abrupt climate perturbations. This gap needs to be filled to confidently predict future climate change." Dr. Richard E. Zeebe Associate Professor Department of Oceanography University of Hawaii at Manoa link

The Senate's Top Environmentalist?
"If the Senate doesn't pass a bill to cut global warming, Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer says, there will be dire results: droughts, floods, fires, loss of species, damage to agriculture, worsening air pollution and more.
She says there's a huge upside, however, if the Senate does act: millions of clean-energy jobs, reduced reliance on foreign oil and less pollution for the nation's children. " link
Speaks for itself.

I Told You So...
Why would Obama and co. want a cap and trade scheme when they know for a fact that it won't have any effect on our environment? Control of course. The plan is obvious and only the blind and the stupid can't see it.
However, since I know some stupid people frequent The Aurora I'll help you out a little bit. The new "Science Czar" of the United States openly believes the we should have....
A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.
among other things.
Oh and have you heard about the "green jobs czar"? Van Jones? Founder and Leader of STORM
And then there are some of his other interesting appointments.
Anyone see a pattern here?

How Can You Be So Sure?
This is a question i get from Gary on a regular basis. He's willing to admit that he could be wrong but doesn't understand why i can't admit the same thing. Well Gary the answer is because....
I'm NEVER wrong. They've done studies and 60% of the time it works every time. Besides which it's normally common sense things that you challenge me on. Like for example Cap and Tax. It won't work. Obama knows it won't work, most of the members of congress know it won't work (some of them are so stupid they might not actually know) and the EPA KNOWS IT.
So now even Gary knows it. The only question for Gary and his ilk now is ....If we all know it won't work then why do it? If not for more control over everything then why?
Hmmm.......

Man Skills
I saw this link on Hotair.com. 14 Basic skills that all men should possess.
I don't know that I agree with the article, but if I did I would say that there are 4 of these skills that I certainly do not possess.
1. Cook the perfect steak........... I can't really cook anything except peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. (is that cooking?)
2. Swim the breast stroke............ I can swim, but not the breast stroke.
3. Sew a button........ I've never even attempted this one
4. Do laundry properly....... Why do laundry when you can drop it off and have the chinese woman do it for 20 bucks?

Credit When Its Due
I applaud President Obama for his historic (and constitutionally non-binding) agreement with Russia. I heard his next move is to shut down a local fish n chip shop on Lake Champlain so that he can claim credit for The War of 1812. Cold War is over bro, try and focus on Iran and Korea. Jackass.

Know When to Fold 'em
This morning on the John Gambling show (am 710 NY) he had Democrat Rep. Henry Waxman.
as a guest. This is the man who authored the Waxman-Markey clean energy bill.
John Gambing is anti the bill and said so but he's very fair minded and doesn't grill his guests which is why they continue to come on his show. Gambling asked him many questions which led to the carbon trading question that I found to be extremely interesting.
Gambling asked Rep. Ratface who will run the carbon credit market? He never got an answer. So either Waxman doesn't know (he's an idiot but he's not stupid) or he doesn't want to tell you that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT will run this market. So every company in the country will need to get these credits from the government and then they will need to buy and sell them on a market controlled by Washington D.C.
Is anyone paying attention to this? Are we alone here at The Aurora in realizing that the federal government doesn't give a shit about the environment and is only using this issue to control more and more of our lives?
Wake up America.
