Slope Getting Slippery

"The White House confirmed Wagoner was leaving at the government's behest after The Associated Press reported his immediate departure, without giving a reason." link

Sounds like a political firing to me, I will hold my breath waiting for the liberal outrage.

Obama Doesnt Like White People

Y'betch yah

Hypocrite?

Well of course. We know he is, but you would think he could pretend to care a little bit better than this....

ALGORE KEEPS THE LIGHTS ON

Flying his corporate jets around, using more electricity than a small city, driving a fleet of SUVs, etc...

Who is stupid enough to still believe in this guy?

Your Employer is Asleep?

No, that's not what "BossNapping" is. Bossnapping is KINDNAPPING and EXTORTION. It seems some workers upset about being laid off have takens their boss hostage and want a better severence package. Of course this is in some lawless third world country right? No, it's in France.....Well I could have answered Yes to that question too I guess.

But of course this won't work because the police will arrest these people and send them to jail........No, the police believe it's all part of the negotiating process.

So, from the country who has entire cities that are overrun by illegal immigrants that the police don't even enter, we get Bossnapping.

Oh and guess who's idea it was to start Bossnapping? If you guessed the unions, you win a prize...

Can't happen here? Hmmmm........

Joe Biden's Daughter Is A Coke Whore

Allegedly

Tom Petty Was Wrong, The Waiting Is The Racist Part

NOW

"The Buffalo-Niagara Falls area unemployment rate jumped to 9.6 percent in February, the highest level of joblessness locally since at least 1990. Private-sector jobs fell by 11,800, or 2.6 percent, in the year-over-year period. Workforce losses in the Buffalo area included 2,400 in durable manufacturing (automobile industry), 2,000 in business services, 1,400 in wholesale trade and 1,200 in health care. The labor department reported local government jobs grew by 600 in the past year."
link

THEN

"Schumer had some words of encouragement for black men in the area – at least he thought they were words of comfort. He said blacks could expect in the next few years to have their pick of unskilled and semi-skilled jobs that required little education, because baby boomers would soon begin leaving the workforce in big numbers." The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that 75 percent of the new jobs in the next 10 years will not require a college degree," Schumer said. (gov't jobs? - donk) So, there you go all you young black men, Schumer implied. Take heart. There will be plenty of unskilled jobs for you if you wait around for the next few years. Don't bother getting a college education in the meantime, because we know that's not your thing. Have you ever heard such paternalistic, plantation-mentality condescension in your life?"

If Joe Biden can get away with stealing Neil Kinnock's life story, then shirley someone in the GOP can quote verbatim Daniel Hannan's smackdown of Gordon Brown in response to anything that Obama has to say for the next four years.

BONUS SCANDAL

AIG? ...... That's no scandal. Those guys had contracts and they were paid in accordance with those contracts. All above board, all legal. The AG of NY is going after them because it's the populist move to make, but if he had any balls or if he really was interested in law and order wouldn't he be going after Franklin Raines who "cooked the books" at Fannie Mae to get his bonuses and then agreed to give up worthless stock options to avoid jail time? I wonder if they offered that deal to Madoff? Hey Frank, you don't want to go to jail for aiding in the collapse of the U.S. housing market through your ILLEGAL activity? Well then give me ........NOTHING.....and we'll call it even!

Hey Mr. Coumo, how about you go after Jamie Gorelick for taking tens of millions of dollars while she and Raines were cooking the books at Fannie? No? You don't have the balls for that either? Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Your old man had to sit down to take a leak too.

Oh, I know, how about going after Rahm Emanuel for his role at Freddie Mac? Aren't you libs always boasting about "speaking truth to power"? Or don't you think BALLERINA'S are powerful? Well don't worry buddy you don't have to do any real lifting here. Your father set you up nicely and with spitzer out of the way you're a shoe in to beat the blind guy in the primaries. NY is getting worse every day.

This guy is sinking faster than a fat black kid in the public pool deep end.

Like I said, Andrew Johnson Part II.

Thursday, March 19, 2009

Heeerrrrrrre's Johnson

"Beginning on August 28, accompanied by such notables as Civil War hero Admiral David Farragut, Johnson launched an unprecedented speaking tour in the hopes of regaining public and political support. He traveled from Philadelphia to New York City, then through upstate New York and west to Ohio before heading back to Washington, D.C. This "swing around the circle" was marked by an intemperate campaign style in which Johnson personally attacked his Republican opponents in vile and abusive language reminiscent of his Tennessee stump speech harangues. On several occasions, it also appeared that the President had had too much to drink, nearly stumbling from the platform. In the end, the campaign was a disaster for Johnson. One observer later said that the President lost one million Northern voters as a result of his tour. In the election, the anti-Johnson Republicans won two-thirds of both houses, thus sealing Johnson's doom and giving his opponents enough power to override his programs. Later, the House of Representatives, in voting its articles of impeachment against Johnson, would charge him with disgracing his office by attempting to appeal directly to the people for support in the 1866 elections -- something that was considered to be demagogic and beneath the dignity of a President at the time." link

We'll be right back with Carrot Top and The President of the United States of America after a word from our sponsors.

Im not nearly snobbish enough to say that Jay Leno -- big ups to my peeps at the Burbank Bob's Big Boy, WEST ALAMEDA in the hizzy -- is beneath the office of the President, Im just saying how do you go from crisis and calamity to yukking it up on a comedy program in two weeks times. Its called priorities and as witnessed by the empty treasury department Obama doesnt have his straight. If this guy was a Republican he'd have been laughed out of DC by now. Sad thing about the whole affair is Leno asking Obama about his NCAA picks will be his toughest interview to date.

Update:

"Mr. Leno was even more negative to the House plan, saying it "kind of scared me."

"If the government decides they don't like a guy, all of the sudden hey we're going to tax you, and, boom, and it passes, that's seems a little scary," he said. "It was frightening to me as an American that Congress or whoever could decide I don't like that group, let's pass a law and tax them 90 percent."
link

Exactly!

Tax Them All

Why stop at AIG? If the plan is to punish failure, let's throw a 90% tax on all welfare and unemployment checks too.

Don't Frank Me Bro

The way libs throw around the term McCarthyism (erroneously) I wonder if they fully understand the irony of Barney Frank now demanding the naming of names of the AIG bonus recepients and Sen Schumer threating to use taxation as a weapon against all those on the AIG lisp list.

Are We Not Drawn Onward, We Few, Drawn Onward To New Era?

Palinphobes and the audacity of type
By Noemie Emery
Examiner Columnist 3/17/09 9:40 PM

Now that the Obama presidency is nearing the 60-day mark, it’s time to thank those fastidious scribes on the left and the right who worked so hard to warn us against Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, and the dire things that would surely occur if she ever got close to executive power.
How right they were to insist that she was unfit for high office. Let’s just imagine what she might have done:

As president, she might have caused the stock market to plunge over 2,000 points in the six weeks after she assumed office, left important posts in the Treasury unfilled for two months, been described by insiders as ‘overwhelmed’ by the office, and then gone on to diss the British Prime Minister on his first state visit, giving him, as one head of state to another, a set of DVDs plucked from the aisles of Wal Mart, a tasteful gift, even if they can’t be played on a TV in Britain. (Note, the Prime Minister, who is losing his eyesight, may even be blind in one eye).

As vice president, she might have told Katie Couric that when the stock market crashed in 1929, President Franklin D. Roosevelt went on TV to reassure a terrified nation. Or on her first trip abroad as Secretary of State, she might have, as the AP reported, “raised eyebrows on her first visit to Europe...when she mispronounced her “EU counterparts names and claimed U.S. democracy was older than Europe’s,” then gave the Russian minister a gag “reset” button, on which the word “reset” was translated incorrectly.

What a good thing that Palin, whom Christopher Buckley called “an embarrassment, and a dangerous one,” wasn’t in office to cause such debacles, and that we have Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton instead. link

Go Fuck Yourself San Diego

In a case of life imitating art, Obama in his best Ron Burgundy teleprompter reading voice thanked President Obama for inviting him to The White House. If he was serious, he's a moron. If he was joking, then by mocking himself he's acknowledging that he's a moron. Either way.... He's a moron. This guy might need to rethink his strategery. link

That goes for Geithner too.

Buy The Fat Bastard A Six Pack And Call It A Day

Here at The Aurora we are men of principle first party second and will not hesitate to let the bullshit flag fly be damned which side of the aisle it lands. In our first month blogging we called out the Bridge To Nowhere as but one example, and havent looked back since.

Speaking of bridges, if she were alive today Im not sure how Mary Jo would have felt about Don Young, but we have a pretty good idea how she'd feel about this...

"More than one out of every five dollars of the $126 million Massachusetts is receiving in earmarks from a $410 billion federal spending package is going to help preserve the legacy of the Kennedys." link

So as the Dems rail against the bonuses of Wall St. they slip in a buck twenty five for Ol' Teddy? Kind of sounds like a bonus to me.

See this is the shit that pisses people off. The hypocrisy of Washington.

Obama and the Dems are slamming corporate retreats (good job crushing Vegas) as they take taxpayer funded retreats and dine on wagyu beef at White House Superbowl parties. Whats the matter toughnuts guacamole and wings aint good enough for ya? Hell even Jimmy Carter the incompetent and negative fuck that he was put on a sweater in solidarity.

People are struggling with their mortgages and losing their homes all while Dodd gets a sweetheart 0% rate and gifted a waterfront home in Ireland. link

Listen, you want to say that dems won gop lost this is the way it is I can buy that. Like earth's climate politics are cyclical. Like it or not we are a two party system and each side gets to do their thing when they have the reins but isnt it time the dems started being honest about it.

When a Republican wins an election he tells you what hes gonna do and you damn well know hes gonna do it. No mystery there (for the most part, McCain wouldve been a loose cannon). Was it a shock to anyone that Bush cut taxes? Dems lie through their fucking teeth and run from their true intentions to get elected then try and pull as much crap as they can get away with before people catch on.

Some schmo plumber apprentice shook the great and powerful Ozbama with one simple question and thats why they had to destroy Joe. He asked a a question that elicited an actual to goodness honest response, and it polled poorly. Obama didnt learn his lesson apparently cuz the spin was back on after answering pretty much the same question for the times and had to drunk dial them later to "clarify", and by clarify I mean bash Bush. Correct answer is, yes you are a socialist.

Bottom line dems you wanna do your thing, do it, but be honest about it. The hopenchange and Bush is the devil rhetoric aint solving anything so how bout this for a suggestion, do your fucking job and stop yer bitchin'. The sooner it can fail so we can take back Congress in '10 you fargin corksoakers.

and another thing.....

Petty? Vindictive?

Yup. And more importantly he's a bad peson.

You want to kill a baby born alive? No problem.

You want government funding for stem cell research? No prob.... ummm... wait we're talking embyro's right? The kind that has NEVER shown any promise or result? No problem

You want government funding for stem cell research that you can use instead of embryo's? Ummm.. wait let me check with the baby killers .... ummm i mean NARAL...... Ummmm they say NO, so i say NO.

Lets go kill some babies.

Hey good job by the MSM by the way for reporting this......Oh that's right, they didn't.

With a great deal of fanfare, President Obama signed an executive order on stem cell research last week. The most controversial element of his new directive is a short, harmless-looking clause that you probably haven’t heard about. People on all sides of the stem cell controversy should call this particular decision what it is: A disgrace

He Was Against it Before he Was For it..II

Obama said repeatedly during the campaign that John McCains idea to tax health benefits would be "the largest middle class tax increase in history". This was one of the few areas where i agreed with him, and still do. I'm sure he realizes that it was true then, just as he knows it's true now. But how then do his supporters explain this......

Obama open to taxing workers' health benefits
With his own proposal facing resistance, president may reverse key campaign stance.
By Jackie Calmes , Robert Pear
THE NEW YORK TIMES
Sunday, March 15, 2009

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is signaling to Congress that the president might support taxing some employee health benefits, as several influential lawmakers and many economists favor, to help pay for an overhaul of the health care system.

Those Who Can Not Learn From History...

Are Doomed To Repeat It!

As The Aurora has been saying all along, it doesn't take a rocket scientist, or even an economist for that matter to KNOW that the "stimulus" bill will not work, to KNOW that the "Omnibus Spending Bill" will not work, and to KNOW that there is a faster, cheaper, easier way to revive the economy. How do you do it? Well just leaving it alone would be ok, or if the government must interfere how about removing the barriers to the free market, and cutting taxes like the great Ronald Reagan did?

He Was For it Before he Was Against it....?

A few members of Congress admitted that they didn't read the "stimulus" bill before sending it to the president. I'm sure MOST of them didn't read it. Did Obama read it before he signed it? I doubt it. So now we get the Omnibus Spending Bill. You think the Presdent read this one before he signed it?.....I don't think he did, and i don't think anyone on his staff did either.

If Bush had done this, the statists would have started calling him the "Dumbest President Ever"...Oh that's right they did call him that.

Obama Signs Law Banning Federal Embryo Research Two Days After Signing Executive Order to OK It

(CNSNews.com) - On Wednesday, only two days after he lifted President Bush’s executive order banning federal funding of stem cell research that requires the destruction of human embryos, President Barack Obama signed a law that explicilty bans federal funding of any "research in which a human embryo or embryos are destroyed, discarded, or knowingly subjected to risk of injury or death."

I'm Speechless

Obama's appointees don't pay taxes. Who's fault is that? Well it's the media's fault of course...

MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Pleads 'Guilty' to Barney Frank for Media Scrutiny of Obama Appointees
By Jeff Poor
Created 2009-03-11 15:59

The Treasury Department oversees the Internal Revenue Service. But if the Secretary of the Treasury - or any other political appointee being considered for the Treasury Department - didn't pay his income payroll taxes, it doesn't matter. That's the message from House Banking Committee Chairman Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., and he blamed the fourth estate for acting like it does matter.
On MSNBC's March 11 broadcast of "Andrea Mitchell Reports," [1] host Andrea Mitchell asked Frank to respond to criticism in a March 11 piece [2] from New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman that too many appointees were being held up for what he deemed insignificant reasons.
"I think it's a problem, although I will say this - for the media to blame that entirely on the Senate seems to me a little bit self serving," Frank said. "I mean, the media is the problem here, in part. It is the over-focus on part of people in the media to relatively minor infractions that causes this. I guarantee you my colleagues would not on their own be doing this. So I do think we are in a culture now where a lack of perfection exacts too strong a toll, but that's the politicians reacting to the media."
Speaking on behalf of the American media, Mitchell told Frank she pled guilty and that this has been allowed to get out of control.
"I take your point, Mr. Frank, Mr. Chairman," Mitchell said. "You're right and we plead guilty because this is this culture right now of ‘gotcha' has gotten completely out of control."
Frank elaborated on his view of the media and associated the failure to pay taxes for certain Obama appointees with "gossip" and "trivia."
"We often bring out the worst in each other," Frank said. "What I found is the public always - seems to me, in the past you could say, ‘Well, that's what the public wanted.' But I do think that maybe the people who are bring us out of this are the average citizens. They are so now focused on real problems that I have found, encouragingly they are much less interested in the gossip, or in the trivia and even the minor infractions than they are in ‘are you going to get credit for me,' ‘am I going to get a job,' ‘what will happen to my health care if I lose my job,' ‘can my kid get into school." You know, adversity seems to be concentrating the mind in a very good way."

I Should Have Listened To Billy Zane, Apparently He's A Cool Dude

The Irish call it uisce beatha, meaning water of life for all yall anglos in Auroraland. They also sing songs about it being the spawn of satan. Throughout my drinking career I have done did the jig between both schools of thought effortlessly and without apology.

Whatever the case may have been in the past, the end of an era is upon us. I, the Donkey have officially removed Jamesons -- that includes you too Knappogue, Powers, and Tullamore Dew -- from my rotation. Fact is that whiskey ye are the devil, you have done did lead me astray. Youre as dead to me as your dead mother.

As far as life altering experiences go, it wasn't a tremendously horrible event that led me to this decision. I didn't kill anyone, or even get in a fight for that matter. I wasnt arrested or do anything that might otherwise lead to me being a person of interest to the authorities.

Ok enough of what I didnt do, heres the recap.

Was out at one of New York's finest purveyors of red meat with a lady friend and another couple. The drinks had been flowing rather generously prior to our seating and it may or may not have included three or four shots of Jamesons. I would have been well served to remember the old children's tale from the sea about wine before liquor.

All were in good spirits and having a great laugh at our failed attempts to put forth our best church or rabbit hunting voice. This was presenting a greater challenge to me than the others as I am not normally known for being soft spoken skunked or sober but I was trying my darnedest. I really was trying Ringo. I was trying real hard to be a shepherd.

... and I think I was doing a somewhat decent job of it at that.

That is until the waiter approached and asked a favor. They needed us to shift our table ever so slightly to make way for a group of special needs patrons about to be seated. We were happy to accommodate no problem.

Now before I continue I want to add in my defense, that Ive recently purchased the Zoolander DVD. Carry on.

The new diners appeared out of nowhere like the cast from Murderball and I just couldnt contain myself as I stood up doing a mock Michael Jackson extended arm dance move from the Dirty Diana video and announced in my best church voice...

Ladies and gentlemen... IT'S A ROLL-OFF, Old Members Only Factory!

Ok when I say best, I mean the worst circus barker Michael Buffer imitation imaginable. Bugs saw me coming a mile away. Apparently in this politically correct day and age its in bad form to publicly mock not one but two cripples before the second course. I felt real bad.

Real bad that we had to leave before our steaks arrived.

.... but there's always Tad's.

Here's to Donegal And her people brave and tall Here's to Antrim, to Leitrim and to Derry Here's to Cavan and to Louth, Here's to Carlow in the South Here's to Longford, to Waterford, and Kerry. Then clink your glasses, clink' Tis a toast for all to drink And let every voice join in the chorus

It was a good run, Ill miss you devil whiskey.

You Know That Hurted...

Sorry Overbite but i think Levin is spot on when he calls your show Countown...to no ratings.....

Hes A Lightweight He Aint My Brother

I just listened to the Mark Levin radio segment where he put the beatdown on David Frum. Afterall that is what happens when punks jump up, they do in fact get beatdown.

If I had any respect (or even pity) for Frum Id be embarrassed for him. But as a charter subscriber to The American Conservative and former subscriber to The National Review Ive long known just what a scumbag this douche is. He has made his career attacking real conservatives, the likes of which he couldnt carry their jocks with a wheelbarrow. In short Frum is a piker.

Sure it fits the anti Rush Newsweek's agenda for now but Im curious if they would have run an old column of his titled...

Unpatriotic Conservatives
A war against America

"the antiwar conservatives have gone far, far beyond the advocacy of alternative strategies. They have made common cause with the left-wing and Islamist antiwar movements in this country and in Europe. They deny and excuse terror. They espouse a potentially self-fulfilling defeatism. They publicize wild conspiracy theories. And some of them explicitly yearn for the victory of their nation's enemies.
They began by hating the neoconservatives. They came to hate their party and this president. They have finished by hating their country." link

Sound familiar? So how ya like Frum now libs? Never mind dont answer that, you will love him so long as he continues to bash the likes of Sarah Palin Buchanan and Rush Limbaugh and you can have him on your television news shows and can put the words conservative in bold letters under his name.

Well let me let you in a secret, hes not one of us. Hasnt been one for a long time, if he ever was really one to begin with.

"In Comeback, Frum concludes that for conservatism to survive, “we must rediscover the most fundamental of all conservative truths: In a world of flux, the only way to conserve is to change.” Comeback calls on conservatives to rein in their traditional opposition to higher taxes and soften their stand on social issues. What’s not negotiable is commitment to war and nation-building." link

You can have him, but know this. As much as you are trying to convey the appearance of dissent amongst conservatives what you are really doing is showing your lack of principles. How many articles have been written on the left about the misguided "axis of evil" expression and now you make the author of those words your conservative coverboy???

Way to stick to your guns.

In closing I will let The Greek conclude like only he can....

The Bum Frum

"I only met Frum once, at a Conrad Black party, where he came up Uriah-Heep-like, actually looking more like the oily Peter Lorre in “The Maltese Falcon.” I know his kind. He will use anyone—including his wife, which he did in spreading the claim that he invented the phrase “axis of evil”—in order to advance his career. Like his icon Sammy Glick, Frum tries to make it by stepping on bodies, but he will end up like Glick, a marginal fellow who tells tall tales about himself. He reminds me of another David—Brock—both of them being ugly pipsqueaks who specialize in telling without having kissed."
Taki

You know that hurted!

One last thing, and I say this with great authority as an Upstate New Yorker....he's a fuckin' Canadian and in all due respect besides John Candy and Anne Murray you cant take them seriously.

Common Sense

Is this really so difficult to understand? I can't believe that educated people who went to these big Ivy league institutions and studied economics with geniuses can't figure this stuff out. It's not rocket science.

For YEARS here at the Aurora we have been saying the same thing. It makes no sense to punish the producers with higher taxes. They already pay a disproportionate amount of taxes. If anything we should actually be giving them a tax cut.

Gary says.... why?

Lily says...that's not fair!

Mike Bloomberg says...."They [the wealthy] are the ones that buy in the stores so that people that work in the stores have jobs in the stores, generate sales tax," he said.
"The rich are the ones that go to the expensive restaurants where, as a matter of fact, I looked at a list the other day of restaurants where the staff is unionized. They're the expensive restaurants. They're not the cheap restaurants."

Thank you Mike! Finally you're saying something that makes sense! Now how about Obama's proposal to cut charity deductions from the "rich" who make over 250K per year? .....What say you Mike Bloomberg?....whIn a rare public break with President Obama, the mayor said attempts to lower tax benefits for donations by families earning $250,000 or more would have a devastating impact on charities that have already lost 30 to 40 percent of their endowments.
"The people they depend on for new gifts have lost an enormous amount of money," the mayor said. "And to make it harder by making less deductibility doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever."

Nor to me Mike. Thanks for finally speaking some common sense.

fyi. the top pay for school teachers in MANY Long Island districts is well above 125k, so according to Obama two school teachers working for 2o years to get to that level with a modest home, college tuition for their 3 kids and and 2 used cars are rich. In case you're wondering YES I'm speaking specifically of people i know who live in my town and are bitching about the $9000.00 in property taxes they pay on their 3 bedroom ranch.

The Coverup Is More Embarassing Than The Crime

This is the excuse?

"Barack Obama's offhand approach to Gordon Brown's Washington visit last week came about because the president was facing exhaustion over America's economic crisis and is unable to focus on foreign affairs, the Sunday Telegraph has been told." link

Really?

Gives new meaning to nappy-headed ho.

Considering his age, is there any doubt that Obama regrets running for President. I doubt he knew he could win, and I know he doubts he can do the job.

..because he cant.

He was not ready.

Obama Was Right About Something

When he said Hillary Clinton's experience as First Lady amounted to nothing more than a "glorified tea party".

I would actually give Hillary a pass on mispronouncing two mid level European Union dignitaries names wrong if wasnt for the fact that someone has to keep them honest considering President George W. Bush when running for President didnt know who the President of Chechnya was, and the media murdered him for weeks about it.

Hillary has made gaffe after gaffe on her World Listening Tour and what does the American media have to say about it? Well apparently Rush Limbaugh is a big meanie.

The reset/overcharge button screw-up is pikerly and embarrassing but minor in comparison to the fact that our Secretary of State has no grasp on the history or procedure of International and American Democracy. Maybe Obama should lend her his portable iTeleprompter.

..but Sarah Palin was the joke?

Should we expect a skit of Hillary as "The Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer"?

"I'm just a caveman. I fell on some ice and was later thawed by some of your scientists. Your world of multi-party democracy and funny languages and names frighten and confuse me! But one thing I do know - we must do everything in our power to raise the capital gains tax"

Yeah probably not.

Regarding the snub of Prime Minster Brown by giving him 25 DVDs (that apparently wont work in the UK) The Aurora actually approves of this move as it is our philosophy that men shouldnt buy men gifts. Ever.

Cant believe Im saying this, but who would've thunk that Joe Biden would turn out to be the smart one?

SCARY

So i was listening to Mark Levin (the great one) this evening. His opening monologue was on Obama's socialized medicine push. He made the point that Obama has already decided to go this route, the funding is already committed, the new laws have already been pushed through in the "stimulus" bill, and the main stream media has flatly ignored it.

Obama is telling us that he's listening to all ideas and opinions, but the "dye is cast" as they say. You might say...So what? it's free medical care and it will be good for the poor people. to which i say to you first of all........you're stupid, nothing is free. Now that we've established that, i also say why haven't the media been telling us the real story about the single payer system?

If you want to get a little taste of how bad it really is, check out the HORROR STORIES

editors note: If for some reason you don't know Mark Levin, he is second ONLY to Rush in the conservative talk radio world.......AND IT'S CLOSE.

I'm The Leader Of This Grand Ol' Pajama Jammy Jam

Liberals have now spent five straight news days debating (and apparently over a year plotting) whether Rush Limbaugh is the "leader" of the Republican Party.

Quick side:

The last time we had an "entertainer" as leader of the conservative movement (no, not Reagan..he was a former entertainer) was a little known television host and magazine publisher by the name of William F Buckley, and I has gots to say that worked out pretty well.

I was watching the Rush CPAC speech (Rhino and Machosauce are right, it was on point) Saturday with someone who I would not consider a conservative. If you got to know the truth I'd peg them as being apolitical with some serious socially liberal leanings.

She expressed to me afterwards that she had never listened to Rush, fully expected to hate him and horror of all horrors agreed with damn near every single thing he said. She also said he looked like a Russian mobster we met at the Brighton Beach Banya. So grats on that Letterman for having the same political eye as a chick. Fag.

I tell this to state the obvious that Rush is not a boogeyman, but Obama and libs need him to be.

Mass movements can rise and spread without belief in a God, but never without belief in a devil - Eric Hoffer

They need him to be the curtain to be the cover for the great and powerful Ozbama.

Why talk about his cabinet full of tax scofflaws? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about his cabinet full of lobbyists? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about the rushed midnight vote on a "stimulus" bill that no one read that sat on Obamas desk for four days? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about how the tax hike on the evil 5%ers will affect 100% of Americans in higher prices being passed on and job losses when small biz makes cutbacks? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about how the budget Obama has proposed is larger than every other budget in our history combined? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about Obama's backtrack on his pledge to remove all pork from the budget because Pelosi and Reid told him no? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about how Iran bitch slapped Obama? Why talk about how Russia bitch slapped Obama? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about the markets being down almost every damn day since he took office? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about Obama comparing the "gyrations" of the life savings and retirement funds of Americans as nothing more than opinion polls? Why talk about Obama hiring one of Bushs' key economic guys (Geithner) at the same time blaming everything on Bush? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about how Obama's lack of executive experience is showing? How his leadership is frighteningly inept? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about Obama's popularity is soaring when its historically average? Why not talk about the abysmal approval ratings of the dem controlled Congress? When they can talk about Rush.

Why talk about how Obama will destroy this country at its very core? When they can talk about Rush.

Ill tell you why...

Because Rush polls low, and all Obama knows is polling and campaigning... thats why. He doesnt lead, he follows. Hope and change has been replaced by putting this country on training wheels and lowering the bar. The White House knows they are off to a horrendous start and need to shift focus and blame fast.

but heres the problem...

The average American do not like Rush because they dont know Rush. They may think they do and have heard how hes over-weight or a racist or pops pills but they dont know Rush, they know what theyve been told to know... and they dont know squat.

....and thats where libs have gone wrong.

They wanted to make Rush the issue, but they wanted to make the old Rush the issue. The one noone knew about and the one most never listened to. The Rush before the web.
Well, welcome to the internets jackasses. By making Rush the issue, people will now podcast google and youtube him and find out like my lady friend did the other night that he is right.

Rush is right.

He is right, and thanks to Obama elevating him to be his political equal more and more Americans are about to discover that Rush is right and Obama is wrong.

Rush is right and Obama is wrong.

... and I smell a backfire a coming.

EE-Aw!!!

You Dumb Schmucks!

The title is directed to all the Jewish New Yorkers that voted for Hillary. Don't act surprised at her betrayal now.

Lazio may have been a tool but he never caught a make out with Suha Arafat.

You get what you deserve. Oy vey? Oh yeah!

The Final Word on Rush

I was in Chicago on business during the speech and didn't see it live. I've seen it multiple times since then however and i read the entire speech. I also listened to a lot of excerpts on his show while driving home from Philly in a snow storm.

Incredible. The man is a genius. but i don't think i can say it any better than this guy......
