This is important because The Aurora has been saying this for years. The MSM keeps writing stories about how the last presidential election shows how the country is moving left. The fact is that Obama ran against a very liberal republican. It was only as close as it was because of Palin.

For years more people have called themselves conservatives than liberals. To a degree I think this was become conservatives had done a pretty good job in demonizing "liberals." On the other hand, once you get down to polling on actuals issues, a majority would generally poll as being pro-choice, pro-environment, pro-universal healthcare, pro-banning assault rifles, etc.
Liberals are known however as being in favor of "change" and Obama promised a change. The American people wanted a change because the last administration was percieved, correctly I would say, as being among the worst in our history.
I still believe that Obama is likely to be re-elected but after that is anyone's guess.
Its funny how liberals use words to hide what they really mean. Ask those same people how they feel about the murder of the innocent unborn, the destruction of industry, the government takeover of healthcare, and repealing the Second Amendment and I think you will find the results not to your liking. Silly Gary, polls are for strippers.
Regarding Change, I will defer to the lad from Lancaster, none other than The Honorable John Waite....
