Interesting....to me at least.

I was out of town on business for the last few days and so didn't get a chance to do any posts but there's a lot of stuff going on. Here's whats up.

ACORN....being exposed by the top notch investigative reporters at the NY tim...? no? I mean the Washington Pos...? no? Oh it's some independent film makers? You know it doesn't seem like it was very tough to expose these people. I wonder why no one from the MSM didn't figure this out? I'm sure they don't have an agenda or anything. I mean look how they uncovered the whole Van Jones story.

Probably a million people or more marching on D.C. to protest Obamacare. I'm upset that I missed it. My neighbor who is a recently retired NYPD detective went down with a few other cops. He said it was tremendous. He's feeling energized and ready for the next tea party. We've attended 2 together so far and a local town hall. Like me he never went to protests or town hall meetings or anything before but he's more involved than ever because of the unprecedented lurch to the left from this administration.

No surprise here. They didn't and still haven't covered the Van Jones story or the other controversial czars (especially that crazy science czar). They still haven't covered the ACORN story. They're lying about the number of people who showed up in D.C. And that's just stuff from the last couple of days.

Acorn: nobody gives a shit.I remember the controversy about Acorn's voter registration drive. Acorn was aiming at registering as many people as possible and paid volunteers to do so. Some volunteers defrauded Acorn, filling out forms at McDonalds using the phone book. Acorn, triple checking each registration form, turned the phony forms in, as required, but labeled as such. For this they were accused of voter fraud, although if you think about it these people didn't vote. Now some individuals in Acorn are accused of helping prostitutes or something, a minor story of not much interest except to wingnut conspiracy theorists.

On the protests: somewhere between 75,000 (fire department estimates) and 1.5 millions (estimates of protest organizers) protested in DC and good for them. I might point out that the organizers have no expertise in estimating crowds and have an obvious incentive to exaggerate the numbers.

On Van Jones: he signed a petition for a new 9/11 investigation (which I would have signed) and called Republicans assholes (and the sky is blue.)

On czars: czar is a media term now being used for propaganda purposes by the crazy right. All presidents have had "czars" or advisors.

On Joe Wilson: if Democrats had shouted "you lie" every time Bush lied he would never have finished a speech. And I would have critized any Democrat who did so. This new "the crazier the better" philosophy of the Right is not a good way to win friends and influence people. True there is a constituency for it, as about 20% of the population is crazy (and crazy people don't know they're crazy) but they are outnumbered by the other 80% who, while they may disagree on issues) are sane.

gary doesn't give a shit about acorn because he obviously doesn't know anything about them. He doesn't know anything about them because he as much as he claims to read everything he really only pays attention to msnbc.

acorn is a dangerous organization. it is not just a few people it is systemic. they are a criminal organization.

on the protests i know people who were there personally and i saw the video. It doesn't take a genius to know there was more than 75k people there. more to the point it's such a low number that whoever said it is obviously lying and has an agenda.

You would have signed it....nuff said.

i've humored your stupidity enough now. run along.

By your logic I could say the Republican Party is a criminal organization.
