Why would Obama and co. want a cap and trade scheme when they know for a fact that it won't have any effect on our environment? Control of course. The plan is obvious and only the blind and the stupid can't see it.
However, since I know some stupid people frequent The Aurora I'll help you out a little bit. The new "Science Czar" of the United States openly believes the we should have....
A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.
among other things.
Oh and have you heard about the "green jobs czar"? Van Jones? Founder and Leader of STORM
And then there are some of his other interesting appointments.
Anyone see a pattern here?

OK, let me just come right out and say that I have a problem with the stuff in Holden's book that I've seen so far. I read "The Population Bomb" back in high school, and while I still think overpopulation is a serious problem, the doomsday scenarios of that book have not come to pass. I haven't read "Ecoscience" and I'm sure you haven't either but I've seen enough to say I don't like it. I am pro-choice on abortion so of course I oppose mandatory abortion or any of the other things mentioned. Does Holden's position require Senate confirmation? If so he should be questioned about this book.
Of course I'm sure that the Obama administration isn't going to require the extreme policies that Holden advocated (or at least thought might become necessary) back in 1973. Makes cap and trade seem very moderate, right?
You really are just a fucking idiot.
"does Holden's position require Senate confirmation?"
Do you even follow politics or government at all? Seriously. You can google and link with the best of them but you really dont know shit. Its embarasing really.
I guess its not your fault. Its not the sheeps job to know how the shepard works, they just follow.
Oh, please give me a fucking break like you ever heard of this guy before the weekend.
To answer my own question, yes he was confirmed--unanimously, no doubt because of his highly impressive credentials, despite the Ecoscience book. Even Senator Inhofe?
Its kind of pathetic when you have to wiki/google the answer to your own question. And even sadder that you dont know which positions require confirmation and which ones dont.
How do you expect me to take you serious on the important stuff when you constantly display a lack of understanding of the most rudimentary procedures of government. Id imagine that you dont debate much in person as its apparent you have to google all your responses.
Now be a man, keep your word, and go away.
You know what I think? You never heard of this guy either before this weekend. Yeah, I read your links and then I googled him because I'd never fucking heard of him before today. Just like you, I imagine. Asshole.
