"two renegade Dems who supported the coup -- Hiram Monserrate, who was recently indicted for attacking his girlfriend, and Espada, who really lives in Mamaroneck and has a number of campaign finance violations."

It does sound like they would be more comfortable in the Republican Party.

Yeah they might be more comfortable in the GOP, they might rabbit.

Or at a Kennedy or Clinton family reunion.

that's just too funny. they were welcome in the dem party but now that they switched they're bad guys.

they actually might be bad guys, probably are but the point is that the dems are crybabies. they shut out the lights and called the police becauset they didn't like the outcome of the vote!

taking their cue from algore.

I was hoping you would post that story. So pathetic. This is a prime example of how liberalism is driven by emotion. Look at Gary selling out his own people. Gary, like all the liberals, were OK with them while they were democrats but now all of a sudden they are evil. What a fake. Gary has just picked a side in politics in lieu of picking principles. Anything democrat is OK to him and all liberals while in the dem party. I'll say it again, PHONY.

Getlive, the notion that liberalism is driven by emotion is phony bullshit propagated by the likes of Rush Limbaugh. Conservatism is then supposedly driven by Reason (because they believe what Rush says.) As for these NY Dems, I live in California and have never heard of them.

and yet the biggest crybaby of them all is tom galisano, multi-billionaire manipulator-in-chief. who leaves the state whining because he couldn't buy himself a tax break from either the democrats or the republicans.

waaaa waaaa ... poor guy. i think i'll go say a prayer for him now so that he can buy monica seles lots and lots of trinkets.

and for you guys to talk about new york state politics without acknowledging the rampant corruption that kept the state red AND one of the most corrupt state regimes in the country is truly bizarre.

Gary, it has been documented long before Rush Limbaugh. The problem is that your emotional intelligence overrides the reason and logic of most political issues. I can hardly blame you, it's most natural. Right now as you are reading this your heart rate has increased. Check yourself. Then you will deny it followed by an emotional lashing out at Republicans. NEXT.

Anita, to talk about ANY politics without acknowledging the rampant corruption is bizarre. It's just a given!

Rush Limbaugh has never "documented" anything. Saying something is not documentation. The idea that liberals are driven by emotion and conservatives by reason is simply untrue. Show me a scientific study that says otherwise.

In my own limited experience conservatives like things bumper-sticker simple ("Drill Baby Drill"), and are susceptible to propaganda points endlessly repeated; e.g. Sean Hannity.

I do agree with your point about the rampant corruption. Our political system, our financial institutions, our intelligence agencies are deeply corrupt.

Maybe you should sit down Gary, you seem flush.
