There are many reasons why Fox DOMINATES all the other cable news channels. I've mentioned a few of them before including the FACT that TV and newspapers are OVERWHELMINGLY liberal and therefore you don't need to watch cable to get the extreme left wing view.
There's the FACT that they're the ONLY fair and balanced channel. No other cable channel gives you both sides. The left says they're "right wing" because they actually give equal time to the conservative point of view. Shocking to the people on countdown to no ratings who have NEVER had anyone on their show that disagree's with overbite. FACT (prove me wrong if you can. Yes that's a challenge)
And then there's this situation with the fascist DHS report. How bad is it? Well even the VERY liberal Bennie G Thompson.... Democrat and Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee is disturbed by it.
How did MSNBC handle it? ONE QUESTION
How did CNN handle it? ......I'm pretty sure they just completely agree with it.
How did FOX handle it? They SPOKE TRUTH TO POWER!

On the DHS report. First, I read it. Second, it was commissioned by the Bush administration and was done by the same people who did an earlier report on leftwing extremism. Rightwing extremism is a threat. Remember Timothy McVeigh, remember The Order. Remember the murdered abortion doctors. Leftwing extremism was more of a threat in the 60's but not so much now.

What's really funny is describing Fox News as "fair and balanced." They openly supported the tea parties. They plugged them for weeks, helped organize them, urged viewers to attend, and Fox on-air talent spoke at them.
By the way, in a "fascist regime" Fox News either would not exist, or would be the only news network. Probably the latter actually.

I think the reason isn't even politically connected. Fox wins because it's "in your face" news programs. It's kinda like reality TV except it's, well, real. People in America love that stuff. They love to watch people argue! And I agree with Anita, enough of the word fascist.
