Well, my taxes were cut which is good for me. My tax bracket is lower-middle class at best and I paid taxes last year. Were your taxes cut? Are you seeing more money in your paycheck? Most Americans are and that's a kind of economics anyone can understand.
I understand that really poor people may not pay income taxes, and may even, due to the Earned Income Credit, get some extra money. I suppose that is "spreading the wealth" although I would point out that the EIC was strongly supported by Ronald Reagan.
the Aurora position seems to be (indirectly of course) one of regressive taxation. you know, the form that keeps the poor poor and makes the rich richer. i have no problem with rich people per se. but the reality is that they don't pay their fair share. do you not see that? are you blind?

So we get a tax cut but some people won't get as big a tax cut as first thought? It's still more money right?
Let me see if I understand The Aurora position. Tax cuts for the rich: good. Tax cuts for anyone else: bad.

I didn't get any refund and in fact i had to write a check to the government again. I am NOT rich.
