The 47 Year Old Jackass

Is Judd Apatow running our Foreign Policy?

David Axelrod: "You plant, you cultivate, you harvest. Over time, the seeds that were planted here are going to be very, very valuable."

Seth Rogen: You've gotta wait till the seed grows into a plant. Then you've gotta fuck the plant.

Seriously though, is there anything for which President Obama doesnt blame America? Is there anything that he likes about this country? Is there anything that we've done right?

Anything?

Ever?

Not so far...

"I firmly believe that if we're willing to break free from the arguments and ideologies of an earlier era and continue to act, as we have at this summit, with a sense of mutual responsibility and mutual respect and mutual interest, then each of our nations can come out of this challenging period stronger and more prosperous, and we can advance opportunity, equality, and security across the Americas,"

and what's wrong with that? what's wrong with stating the obvious? making believe that the united states had no part in the ravages of lating america, having amnesia, doesn't seem to have worked in the past, has it? wouldn't you rather have obama shaking hands with chavez than having chavez canoodling with medvedev????

i personally think it's pretty amazing.

Hi Anita, at last I'm not the only voice of sanity here at The Aurora.

As for the American record south of the border; if Obama doesn't overthrow their elected governments, and support torture and death squads he will be far ahead of most previous administations.

Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with a nuclear free world. Nothing wrong with a torture free world. Nothing wrong with butter in my ass, and lollipops in my mouth. That's just me

My problem lies with his use of the word mutual. Like so many of his are, it is empty.

so anita you think that chavez WON'T be canoodling with our enemies because our president shook his hand?

I think the United States has had MORE hand in the good things in Latin America than the bad things.

Hey I have an idea. Since we want to help Latin America so much how about a free trade agreement with Columbia???? I seem to remember reading something about that not too long ago. You know Columbia right? They're the ones who DON'T blame us for their troubles as they nationalize industry, rig elections, and cozy up to Iran and Cuba.

Butter in your ass? More than I needed to know. How "Last Tango in Paris."

Once again wrong Gary. Get your movie quotes right jackass.

It's been decades since I saw the movie but didn't Marlon Brando butter up the ass of the girl in that movie?

OK, I google it. Boogie Nights: "I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth." Funny I saw that film and that quote didn't stick in my mind like it did yours." But Last Tango did butter first.

so nobody wants to talk about free trade for columbia? I mean we were talking about improving relations with latin america right?

gary said...

I am all for free trade with Columbia at some future time, after they stop murdering union members and leaders. Murder is not an appropriate way to deal with unions.

I was addressing Anita. Lately i don't have the patience or the time to deal with you're particular brand of stupidity.

gary said...

What brand of stupidity do you endorse?

Rhino-itall said...

By the way Anita, since we should be talking to these despots, what about the former white government of S.Africa? Shouldn't we have shook hands with them? How about the current despot in Darfur? Shouldn't we be shaking hands with the guy who's killing all the christians there?

Do you really believe that it does no harm to shake hands with these dictators?

anita said...

are you really comparing hugo chavez to the government of darfur?

Rhino-itall said...

Nope. I'm wondering where you draw the line?

Does it have to go to the level of genocide for you to think it's a bad idea to speak to shake hands? And why?
