Was just outside having a morning smoke, and as I am
wont to do, was standing just off the curb on the street. An NYPD traffic cop pulled up silent siren flashing and called out over the loud speaker "hey white man, move it along". I flipped him the bird. He rolled down his window and clarified.... "van, move it along white van".

Don't be that person. Nobody likes THAT person.
If you got a problem take it up with my auto-correcting Blackberry. I aint gots time to proof read.
i am that person. nobody likes (or at minimum, understands) me anyway, so i've got nothing to lose.
i enjoy words, find their use, disuse and misuse fascinating. i was an english major (but despite all appearances not a grammar nazi) and certainly was not trying to reprimand or pick on you like a school teacher. wont is a word that is rarely used and when it IS used i am pleasantly surprised. i was just trying to be helpful, not nagging.
so never mind.
Whoa whoa whoa. Let's slow down a gosh dang minute.
School teacher? Like a Van Halen video?
