Obama's policies may or may not work. I hope they do but it's not going to be easy to get out this mess. I don't see any alternative to massive government spending to stimulate the economy and certainly the Republicans haven't offered any (except more tax cuts).
You know, when Bush was Presidet, I hope that his policies would work. I didn't think that they would, I thought they would be bad for the country. I didn't think they would come as close to destroying this country as they did. I didn't want the country destroyed just so the Dems would havea chance in the next election. Can anyone now deny that this country would have been better off if Gore had prevailed in 2000? Anyone in their right mind that is.
Although Bush almost destroyed this nation, I do not question his love of country. He tried. (And failed.) But already rightwing sites are calling Obama a traitor. Not The Aurora I admit.

I don't think you understand. We do not "hope he fails" we KNOW he will fail. He will fail because everything he's attempting has been tried before. When Rush says he wants him to fail, he doesn't mean that he want's the country to fail, he means that he doesn't want to become a socialist country. Anybody with any grasp of history and politics KNOWS that socialism means going backwords. So if Obama "succeeds" with his radical left wing agenda it will be a success for him and his lot, but the country loses.
That's the point. I know you hate Rush, like i can't listen to algore for more than 10 seconds, but you should read his speech, like i do with algore. What Rush say's is correct. You may not agree with him ideologically, but there's no way you can argue his logic.
This is why i ALWAYS win every argument with liberals and in fact could win a debate very easily against our president right now. His ideology is a failed one, and mine is the most successful in the history of mankind. It's really that simple.
