So, Dodd lied and the Obama administration dropped the ball. It's fair to criticize that. But why defend the AIG bonuses? I don't care what a private company does but once they take government billions that's different.
That's what I meant by a politically losing proposition.
Socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor, right?
But in a world where grown men get paid millions to bounce a ball, I'm less concerned with the bonuses as I am with a rogue Congress going vigilante and retroactively violating private contracts.

I'm not defending the bonuses.
