Congress will consider legislation to extend some of the curbs on executive pay that now apply only to those banks receiving federal assistance, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank said.“There’s deeply rooted anger on the part of the average American,” the Massachusetts Democrat said at a Washington news conference today.He said the compensation restrictions would apply to all financial institutions and might be extended to include all U.S. companies.
Where is the outrage? These are truly fascist moves and yet i don't hear the outcry from the left.
We here at The Aurora have always known that the left are just a bunch of fascists. From the days of Woodrow Wilson with his secret police, on through the Hoover years and the grand social experiment that was FDR's "New Deal", all the way up to the "Great Society" years of LBJ.
We thought their days were over when it was revealed that socialism/communism/fascism (really they're more similar than you think) failed EVERYWHERE that it was tried, including here in the U.S. and the great Ronald Reagan showed the way to true freedom. But it turns out they were just biding their time until they had a crisis, and enough control of the media to regain their positions in power.
Congratulations Lily, you got your candidate and your congress and for the first time in generations your daughter's standard of living will be lower than her mothers.

Not one word from the Aurora when the last administration conducted illegal wiretaps, tortured, and set up secret prisons around the world. But limit executive pay to 500K for the people who ran their companies and the country into the ground and now need to be bailed out by our taxes, and its fascism. Criticize Rush Limbaugh is fascism.
Did you ever see Goodfellas? Great film. Remember the scene where the restaurant owner went into business with the mob? They hollowed out the business financially, ran up bills on its credit, sold off its assets, and then burned it down. As the lead character said, "It's all profit." Thats what the Republicans and the corporate executives did to this country over the last eight years.
