The Donkey and I have had this discussion on many occassions. Where are the Michael Kinsley Libs? What happened to them? You know what i mean, the ones who were honest, smart, thought provoking, and could even sometimes make sense and give PJB or Sununu a run for his money? They're a dying breed. These days the libs call themselves "progressives" which seems to be a euphemism for Bush hating socialists. There's still one around though and again although we rarely agree with her we respect her.

No doubt Buchanan-Kinsley was the class of the Crossfire years. They would actually debate each other. Sununu was a lil bit more ruthless than PJB and would just beat the wee fellow into the ground. Needless to say I was very fond of Sununu as well.

I wouldnt go that far. Ok Ill give ya smart. Cant recall Kinsley ever being right or winning a debate but he would without a doubt and to his great credit argue his side forcefully and articulately against obviously intellectually superior opponents.
In recent years hes gone too far off the deep end to stomach his new stuff. Although I am a big fan of the fact that he destroys every lib rag he touches.
