Liberals Hate Women

Let me get this straight.

One of the key issues of the liberal feminist movement was to get women out of the kitcken and into the boardroom and now that theres a woman running for Vice-President of the United States the left is saying that she should stay home with her kids????

Dems are running afraid already, and people make mistakes when they get a scared. This is gonna get good.

In closing let me quote my favorite left leaning bull dyke lesbian to put things into its proper perspective....

“We may be seeing the first woman president. As a Democrat, I am reeling, That was the best political speech I have ever seen delivered by an American woman politician. Palin is as tough as nails.” -- Camille Paglia

Greatest QB's In The Modern Era

Why the modern era? Because how can we compare Johnny Unitas to Peyton Manning? Or Y.A. Tittle to Phil Simms? They just didn't play the same games.

My Top 10 QB's of the last 25 years or so are as follows:

10. Warren Moon- I know he's not usually on anyone's list, but the guy threw for almost 50k yards! That's after spending about 5 years in the CFL because nobody would draft him as a QB in the NFL.
He broke every QB record there was in Canada and then finally became a Houston Oiler where he demolished every team record they had.
He was a 9 time NFL Pro-Bowl QB and he's in both the CFL and NFL halls of fame. As i write this i'm thinking he should probably be higher on the list.

9. Phil Simms- Simms went 22 for 25 for 268 yards, setting a Super Bowl record for accuracy and passer rating with a rating of 158.3, and throwing 3 touchdown passes. His record for passer rating was not just a Super Bowl record; it was also an NFL postseason record.
Plus, he threw for over 30k yards on team that was built to run and had no wide reciever to ever make a pro bowl. (and of course i'm a Giants fan)

8. Troy Aikman- I actually hate the cowboys with a passion and don't want to write any more about this guy. It kills me to put him ahead of Simms. Somebody tell me why i'm wrong.

7. Steve Young- I wanted to rank him higher because I love the fact that he was with the Buccaneers and they thought he was a bust and drafted Testaverde and traded him away, but he backed up Montana for so many years that he just doesn't have the stats. to put him any higher.

6. Brett Favre- Ironman, unbelievably tough. Most passing yards ever, most touchdowns ever, and maybe most wins ever? I can't remember. 3 time NFL MVP. It's all very impressive and i know a lot of people think he should be higher but i disagree. He only has 1 Superbowl win in 3 appearances and let's face it, he throws a lot of interceptions at important times. I like the guy, i just hope his stint with the Jets doesn't tarnish his legacy.

5. Tom Brady- Could end up at #1 eventually

4. Peyton Manning- Probably will end up at #1 eventually

3. Dan Marino- Simply put, the most prolific passing QB in the history of the NFL. I know Favre has taken his records as of late, but even Brett the Jet says Marino is better. I think Peyton Manning is the only guy who is close to Marino's equal when it comes to just pure passing.

2. Joe Montana- I'm really sick of Montana. I don't want to put him up this high and would rather not even mention him, but the fact is the guy was great. Also, unlike Favre, he was at his best in the biggest games. 4 time superbowl champ, 3 time superbowl MVP. Just the most dominant QB in the big games in his era.

1. John Elway- I know a lot of people won't agree with me here, but if i was starting a franchise today and could have any of these 10 guys in his prime this is the one i would want. Before you get all crazy, here me out.

On January 11, 1987, Elway executed "The Drive", a miracle five-minute, 15-play, 98-yard touchdown drive in the AFC Championship against the Cleveland Browns to tie the game, leading to an overtime win by field goal for the Broncos. It included six passes made (nine attempted), five rushes and an eight-yard sack. He was named the NFL Most Valuable Player and the AFC Offensive MVP.
In 1991, he became the only quarterback to pass for over 3,000 yards and rush for over 200 yards in the same season for seven consecutive seasons.
He was named the AFC Offensive MVP in 1993 when he passed for over 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns.
In 1997, he led the Broncos to their first ever Super Bowl win in Super Bowl XXXII. His three previous attempts in Super Bowls XXI, XXII, and XXIV were unsuccessful.
On January 31, 1999, in Super Bowl XXXIII he passed for 336 yards in a 34-19 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Elway was named the Super Bowl MVP.
He was selected to the Pro Bowl nine times during his 16 seasons with the Broncos.
He led the NFL all-time list with 148 wins as a starting quarterback.
At retirement, Elway's 300 career touchdown passes placed him third behind Dan Marino and Fran Tarkenton.
He was only the second quarterback to pass for at least 3,000 yards in 12 seasons.
On January 31, 2004, he was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Pretty impressive, but the most impressive thing about Elway in my opinion is this final fact:

Elway also holds the record for most game-winning or game-tying scoring drives in the fourth quarter, with 47. Surprisingly often, if Elway had the ball late in the fourth quarter and the Broncos were within a touchdown, he would lead them to tie or win the game

Let the games begin.

Does Humor Belong In Politics?

Frank Zappa once asked that very same question about music to which the answer was a resounding yes. Often lost in Zappa's musical genius yellow snow and titties ~n~ beers is the fact that he was one of the greatest social commentator satirist and humorist of the last century.

One album Zappa would mock hippies and on another he would take the piss out of the religious right. He was an equal opportunity offender and threw the bullshit flag when saw a foul.

Reminds me alot of South Park today, hands down one of the smartest shows on the television. Granted I get a kick out of the continual war against hippies on the show but even when they take on my religion or political ideology the show cracks me up.

Funny is funny. People are just too damn sensitive.

The Colbert Report is in my opinion the second funniest show on tv and its entire premise is to make fun of my existence as a conservative. Maybe I just have thick skin or maybe its just reverse psychology.

I like getting hit with hot dogs. It don't bother me none. Guess I'm lucky it wasn't hot chili day today.

But once again.... funny is funny.

Well Ive found another comic gem on cable recently and Im here to share it with you cuz thats the kind of swell guy I am.

It was only a matter of time based on the success of The Colbert Report that someone would come up with a mirror image satirical take on the lunatic lefty bias in the media and that satire name be Keith Olbermann.

The man is a comic genius and his coverage of the DNC has been pure comedy gold.

The guy is just flat out fuckin hilarious. I sometimes turn the volume off and just el oh el when his face gets beet red as he ruffles his papers menacingly after Patrick Buchanan talks. Or how he talks like the fat lady in the opera, or rather.....

T H E W O R S T O P E R A I N T H E W O R L L L L L L D ! ! ! ! ! !

I even find it funny when he and Matthews get in little catfights trying to top each other with their own personal stories showing how much they relate to us common folk. Chris says he took a train to work once and Keith will counter that he went to a state school. Brilliant!

GRAND SLAM HOME RUN SLAM DUNK.

Ok we get it Keith you worked for ESPN a hundred years ago.

Seriously though its pretty clear that Olbermann is either certifiably insane or its all just shtick, but whatever it is Im honestly telling you that I havent laughed this hard since Cartman called Hitler awesome. Just imagine how over the top Stephen Colbert would be covering the RNC and there you have Olbermann this week in Denver. Funny funny stuff.

However whats even funnier is that people take him seriously.

This just in....

According to ratings not a whole hell of a lot of people take him seriously.

The fact remains that this assclown is the face of MSNBC "news" and despite my twisted sense of humor this knucklehead should be on SNL not hosting moderating or covering Presidential elections and that aint no laughing matter.

.... on a side note, is it just me or does Rachel Maddow remind anyone else of a more masculine Crossfire era Michael Kinsley?

Got to finsh it with a Beasties lyric...

You got beef Chief? Cuz Im knocking out teeth Keith!

McCain's V.P. Great Idea

I wish I had thought of it myself, because i couldn't agree with it more.

Media Bias... Admission From NBC

At a panel discussion of moderators from the major networks this weekend, the Democratic Gov. of Penn. Ed Rendell said of the Obama coverage this season

“MSNBC was the official network of the Obama campaign,"

"absolutely embarrassing."

Typical of the MSM, they asked him to sit down and shut up. However, they allowed Tom Brokaw a chance to rebut, and he said....

Matthews and Keith Olbermann are "not the only voices" on MSNBC

These guys are so over the top biased that Brokaw couldn't even defend them! He actually had no choice but to throw them under the bus or lose his own credibility!

Of course i realize that these guys are not "news" people. I also remember reading somewhere that Olbermann is openly biased and that's the direction that the show wanted to take in order to try to compete with Oreilly, but I think Matthews is actually pretending to be neutral!

Finally, lets keep this in mind as we move forward in the general election. Rendell wasn't defending McCain, or complaining on behalf of a Republican, he was upset with the coverage of Hillary! The coverage has been and will continue to be much more lopsided against McCain.

I wonder if Rendell will stand up for him too?

Read it here.

Greatest Athlete in an Individual Sport

With the Olympics upon us and the Michael Phelps dominance in our brain, Donkey and I were trying to figure out who is the greatest individual athlete of all time, or at least who should be in the conversation. Not team athletes, just individuals. It's not an easy thing to do, but I have narrowed down my top 5... I think....

1. Michael Phelps- Set his first world record at age 15, has 14 Gold medals total and a record 8 in this Olympics. Has 16 Olympic medals total and will probably swim in the next Olympics as well.

2. Cael Sanderson-4 time NCAA champion wrestler at Iowa State. Undefeated in his collegiate career. 4 time NCAA outstanding wrestler. Olympic Gold medalist. Simply put, the most dominant wrestler in history.

3. Roger Federer- Ranked #1 in the world longer than anyone else in the history of the sport

4. Muhammad Ali- Simply the greatest heavy weight boxer in history(my opinion) and missed the prime of his career for political reasons.

5. Sam Snead- probably will be replaced by Tiger eventually, but as of now i think you have to give it to the all time leader in wins, and if not then you have to go with Nicklaus who's the all time leader in Major victories.

Others to consider: Mark Spitz, Tiger Woods, Carl Lewis,Eric Heiden,Lance Armstrong,Dave Scott(ironman), Dan Gable.

Getlive submitted a good one in the comments section- Kelly Slater 8 time world champion surfer......

Thoughts?

Inside the Campaign

He Wrote of Obama --“unelectable except perhaps against Attila the Hun,” and wrote, “I cannot imagine America electing a president during a time of war who is not at his center fundamentally American in his thinking and in his values.” He proposed targeting Obama’s “lack of American roots.”

Who is he? John McCain's campaign manager? Those racist republicans with their attack machine? The Swiftboaters? Karl Rove, or as the kos kids call him Lucifer?

No, in fact it was none other than Mark Penn, campaign manager for Hillary Clinton.

I don't know how The Atlanic got these memos, but they're pretty interesting.

Take a look at the rest of Joshua Green's work on this.

Born And Raised In South Manilla

China is on the verge of passing The United States as the world's top manufacturer. Bill Clinton's legacy wasnt a stained blue dress it was selling out American Industry (and military secrets) to the Chinese as reward for funding every single campaign he ever ran for public office going back to Hope Arkansas Dog Catcher.

Rhino disagrees with me on this but "Fair and Free" trade is a load of crap. Was it fair when we bought Manhattan? How bout the Louisiana Purchase? Sewards Icebox? Of course not. We done did fleece them Injuns, Frogs and Ruskies and we did so for the betterment of our nation without concern for others and why we rose to become the biggest and baddest on the block.

America First motherfuckers!

Kill me??? That son of a bitch, he didn't get a base hit all season! I ought to kill him!

That quote really had nothing to do with anything but was watching Scarface recently and always liked that line.

Back on point.

Its bad enough that China now makes all our children's toys and possesses our intercontinental ballistic missile technology. Its troublesome to me that India makes all our generic pharmaceuticals and handle our customer service calls.

But this is the last straw. When 80's super suck bands start outsourcing you know that the end is nigh.

Press ESCAPE

Open Arms Not Borders!!!

Isn't That Special?

Like all politicians, I am also in favor of "special interest groups" and lobbyists. Unlike the politicians, I admit it. I'm not trying to get elected to anything and I'm not looking to put blame on a boogeyman that doesn't exist. From what I can tell, very little gets done without them. This is how we pick our elected officials. Which candidate is supported by or caters to our personal special interests? In this Presidential election there really is no choice for me.

Senator Obama has also said many times that he is against "special interests." But, like most politicians who say that, he means that he is against other politicians' special interests. His own special interests are never called special interests.

"Quote"

"a war dance of the handmaidens of the oil companies."

Nancy Pelosi (on the republican revolt on the energy crisis.)

I don't agree, but it's still a great quote.
