The Iraq War has made us Safer

George Bush has made us safer by invading Iraq. This is not my opinion, this is fact.

Read John Hinderaker and weep my liberal friends. Or don't weep, because you're a bunch of cry babies already, but read it anyway.

Well, Which is it Congressman?

Rep. Ed Markey from Mass. (of course he's from Mass.) want's the president to release oil from the SPR because he believes that the extra supply would help alleviate some of the rise in gasoline prices.

I agree that it would help short term.

Rep. Ed Markey introduced a bill last year to block drilling in ANWR which holds an estimated 10 billion barrels of oil. ?

Why? If Mr. Markey believes the answer to our energy woes is more supply then why wouldn't he want to increase it by drilling in ANWR?

In fact, why is anyone against this?

The only answer I've heard that I believe is that the people who are anti drilling believe that it's a GOOD thing that we have $4.oo + gasoline and hope it goes higher to force people to stop driving or flying or whatever in order to protect the environment.

It's a disaster for our economy, it's a disaster for our health, it's a disaster for our country as a whole but that is not the agenda of the people i mentioned earlier. Their agenda is protecting the environment from being destroyed by man. More specifically from America, because according to these people America is the worst offender.

Now of course i don't believe man is capable of destroying the earth, and i don't believe man is capable of saving the earth but that's just common sense and logic so i don't expect the greenies to understand but i'm wondering, is there another reason to not drill in ANWR?

Can anyone else give me a legitimate reason to not drill there besides wanting to wreck the economy and destroy the American way of life?

Questions

Q. Can the Dems win without Florida?

A. I don't think so.

We might find out soon because I'm hearing every talking head on T.V. lately talking about Obama struggling there because of his views on appeasing the Iranian nut job and the Syrians. Lot's of Jews and red necks (no offense donkey)in Florida.

Q. If Hillary wins the popular vote, how can the dems nominate Obama anyway with the way they're still carrying on about the 2000 election?

A. Oh that's right, i forgot who we're talking about. I remember the blue republic used to do a hypocrisy piece all the time but i bet they wouldn't have mentioned this one. The dems don't recognize their own hypocrisy because when they do it they claim it's evolution!!!

Q. How many people are stupid enough to still believe that "big oil" is to blame for high gas prices?

A. All the dems in congress apparently because once again they've summoned the CEO's to sit there and be berated on TV. Of course this may be just politics and maybe they're smart enought to understand supply and demand, but i don't want to give the dems too much credit.

Fair and Balanced?

No there's no liberal bias in the media.... except i just heard Johnathan Alter (managing editor of newsweek) refer to the President of the United States as "this blowhard". He said a couple of other choice things in that same line but i don't remember them exactly so i don't want to quote them, but the vitriol in words was obvious. How can anyone say this guy isn't biased? He's just one of many of course.

In the last presidential election, leftist special interest groups and socialist billionaires like George Soros waged war with an unprecedented tsunami of negative TV attacks on the Republican incumbent, suggesting he was a draft dodger that knowingly lied us into war. Adding fuel to the fire, Hollywood uncorked nasty – and equally distorted -- documentaries like “Fahrenheit 911.” The Bush-bashing wave was so big Byron York wrote a whole book about it called “The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy.” This year, our “objective” media turned their eyes on the November race, but they’re seeing only one negative side of the street – a right-wing conspiracy to lie, cheat, and smear their beloved Barack Obama.

Delhi Sandwich

"If Americans were to slim down to even the middle-class weight in India, "many hungry people in sub-Saharan Africa would find food on their plates," Mehta said. The money Americans spend on liposuction to get rid of their excess fat could be funneled to famine victims instead, he added." source

What the fuck!!!

Did Gunga Din just call America fat???

Why dont you go fetch some water..... wait a minute on second thought.

Well played India.

Point conceded.

Earth Needs A Brazilian Wax

For fooks sake Ive had enough of this global warming tomfoolery already and have decided that I will offer up a real solution to this imaginary problem in the hopes of shutting the pie holes of the alarmists once and for all.

Chop down 50% of the Amazon Rain Forest today.

Thats it, problem solved.

If the carbon output of mankind is directly and solely responsible for the "imminent threat" of a global warming catastrophe and that said output rising or otherwise is still only four to five percent of the total carbon in the atmosphere while the Amazon puts out one tenth of all carbon dioxide emissions then it seems pretty simple to me.

Chop down 50% of the Amazon Rain Forest today.

No rock concerts, mockumentaries or made up off-setting investment derivatives are needed, just grab a frickin chainsaw and....

Chop down 50% of the Amazon Rain Forest today.

..... and punch the next person you see with a Save the Rain Forest bumper sticker, because as the ol' saying goes ... "if they isnt a part of the solution, then they be the problem"
