For the last post of 2008 I wanted to pick my favorite story of the year. I thought I could go through all of the previous posts and pick out the one that i liked the best and then reprint it with some new commentary. Then I thought maybe I should include other sources besides just the Aurora, like maybe newspapers or other blogs and then........ I realized that I'm just too lazy to do all of that work.
So what I finally decided to do was post a story that I meant to post a few days ago but never got the chance. It would definitely be one of my top ten stories of the year anyway and I get another opportunity to laugh at the global warming idiots.

2008 was the year man-made global warming was disproved
Looking back over my columns of the past 12 months, one of their major themes was neatly encapsulated by two recent items from The Daily Telegraph.
The first, on May 21, headed "Climate change threat to Alpine ski resorts" , reported that the entire Alpine "winter sports industry" could soon "grind to a halt for lack of snow". The second, on December 19, headed "The Alps have best snow conditions in a generation" , reported that this winter's Alpine snowfalls "look set to beat all records by New Year's Day".

As I have the same scientific credentials as Booker, that is none, let me say that global warming is real because last summer was hot here in San Jose.
Thank you for not disappointing Gary. You once again miss the point altogether. It wasnt so much that Booker was trying to make a scientific point as he was mocking the hyperbole of people like yourself in the fraudulent money grabbing warming ruse.
It certainly helps though that the sciene is on his side.
The polar bear population is not shrinking.
The planet is not getting hotter.
The ice caps are not disappearing
Ski resorts are not going out of business (from lack of snow)
You are wrong on this and you know it, but your side has once again made this about morality so its hard to let it go in the overwhelming face of the actual facts and science and not some fallible alarmists computer model. You think you are right so you will chose to ignore any actual facts that would prove otherwise. You place more faith in some glorified video game developers computer model (proven erroneous on all counts) than the actual weather. A model for the record that takes ZERO consideration off the sun's impact on earth's temperature. ZERO. Does that make any sense to you?

But Booker is wrong on one thing, the current economic crisis will not be a deterrent in stopping alarmist taxation and legislation. If we have learned one thing in all of this is that things like common sense, logic, science, and facts have no place in the warming debate so why would they start now.
Man made global warming is a fraud, and until you can prove otherwise with actual facts and not theory keep your carbon emitting pie hole shut.

Short version: the ice is melting, with BAD effects. Odd that the National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Royal Society, and most of the scientific community is on my side here, and yet you say the "science" disproves manmade global warming. But of course you have a conspiracy theory to explain all that.
