Pulitzer Winner?

Not for anything having to do with economics I hope because the guy just doesn't get it.

As Milton Friedman once famously said to Ted Kennedy "Senator, socialism hasn't worked in 6,000 years of recorded history," explained Friedman. "Why won't you give up on it?"

I have the same question for Thomas Friedman (no relation) of the NY Times after his most recent op-ed. Now don't get me wrong, as NY Times op-ed guys go he's one of the least stupid, and in fact there are many points he makes in this piece that i agree with. However just the fact that he thinks a government appointed "reciever" could run the big auto companies any more efficiently than the current knuckleheads who are doing it defies any knowledge of how government actually works.

Still very flat
