Like all politicians, I am also in favor of "special interest groups" and lobbyists. Unlike the politicians, I admit it. I'm not trying to get elected to anything and I'm not looking to put blame on a boogeyman that doesn't exist. From what I can tell, very little gets done without them. This is how we pick our elected officials. Which candidate is supported by or caters to our personal special interests? In this Presidential election there really is no choice for me.
Senator Obama has also said many times that he is against "special interests." But, like most politicians who say that, he means that he is against other politicians' special interests. His own special interests are never called special interests.

does it get any more un-American than this?
The union thing is extremely un-American. However, unions themselves are traditionally un-American. They are actually a form of socialism. The New Deal FDR administration is responsible for the advancement of the labor union. Back then the elite's in our society were enamored with communism and thought it a better and more fair system of governing.
Much like Obama today even though he won't admit it publicly.
It sort of reminds me when I was a volunteer for the Special Olympics as a "hugger" except for the fact that nowadays I want to punch these tards in the face.
We had this one kid.. Mongo...
I was here last week, I was going to mention it, I read a lot at allAfrica, the very big news portal, Obama is the biggest thing ever.
