Kentucky Fried Clinton

I always thought it was just downright stupid to call Bill Clinton the first black President. If anything the guy that wore the pimp hat with bad facial hair and freed millions of slaves deserves that honor.

Then like most liberal policies I just wrote it off as your typical high horse lefty racism since American liberalism depends on telling the black population that they arent good enough to feed themselves, employ themselves, educate themselves, raise a family themselves, vote themselves, house themselves... ok you get the point but why not "you cant be President yourself, so we'll do that for ya too"

Funny how their mind works. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice is an Uncle Tom but Slick Willy is a Pimp.

Now Im beginning to think maybe they were right....

Bubba is always angry, eats lots of fast food, likes fat white chicks, and as his recent attacks on Obama demonstrate and statistical data proves..... black on black crime is destroying the 'hood.

That's neighborhood for all you crackers.

Maybe It Really Is You.....

Theres a saying on Wall St that the trend is your friend, and gauging recent market conditions your friend is a back-stabbing piece of garbage.

Which brings me to the Democrat Party....

I have long accused liberalism of being nothing more than a catchphrase finger pointing blame game ideology. I cant really say that I fault them for trying to pass the buck, considering that almost every big liberal idea over the past hundred years has proven itself to be nothing short of disastrous.

There's a cliche oft used in broken relationships whereas one party will tell the other that "it's not you baby it's me" When in fact it's always THEM.

Which brings me to the Democrat Party.

In close elections the Dems always play two of their favorite cards.... racism and voter disenfranchisement. Well that only makes sense since everyone knows that the Republican Party hates black/brown peoples and will stop at nothing to disenfranchise them. Muhahahaha!!!
Which brings me back to the Dems for the last time....

What happens when they are the only ones in the sandbox? Do they peacefully co-exist and co-op the Tonka trucks to change the box into a Sand Castle Utopia...... nope! You guessed it they dance with the girl that brought em ...... charges of racism and voter disenfranchisement.

What does that tell you?

Exactly!

The Price Is Wrong Bitch

Not that its a big surprise to those in the know in Auroraland but it seems that once again in the eternal debate with the naysayers we were right and ahead of the intellectual curve once again.

This past year after a visit to one of the worlds most active volcanoes and speaking with leading scientists I put forth the theory that like other natural occurrences that have been largely ignored in the climate change debate, that perhaps volcanoes and more specifically past super-volcanic activity have played a more significant role in climate change than the alarmists are willing to acknowledge.

After all you cant tax lava and ash.... yet.

My statements were met with the usual arguments of how I was wrong because of "consensus" and that "Exxon is Evil".

Antarctic volcanoes identified as a possible culprit in glacier melting

Another factor might be contributing to the thinning of some of the Antarctica's glaciers: volcanoes.

In an article published Sunday on the Web site of the journal Nature Geoscience, Hugh Corr and David Vaughan of the British Antarctic Survey report the identification of a layer of volcanic ash and glass shards frozen within an ice sheet in western Antarctica.

"This is the first time we have seen a volcano beneath the ice sheet punch a hole through the ice sheet" in Antarctica, Vaughan said.
cont'd

Granted the article then goes on to backtrack a bit and question their own data to keep open the possibility that it is in fact all man's fault but if anything that only goes on to further prove our point that scientists are not impartial and will even ignore their own findings so as to comply with the political agenda.

Now if only we could get the world to read The Aurora.....

In more important news.......BIG BLUE IN THE BOWL BABY!!!!

I Can't Believe I'm Saying It But.....

We can learn something important from the French!

The French have reprocessed spent nuclear fuel for 30 years without incident. There have been no accidental explosions, no terrorist attacks, no contribution to nuclear proliferation. Their facility in La Hague has safely processed more than 23,000 tons of spent fuel, or enough to power the entire country for 14 years. Story (green for the environment)

And..... I also can't believe i have to defend this guy because i really can't stand him (i did read one of his books and it wasn't too bad) and he's a shill for the democrats. However, whether you agree with him on this subject (i do) or not he has the right to say it and if he believes it he shouldn't have to apologize.

Under pressure from feminist groups and his own bosses at MSNBC, Chris Matthews apologized yesterday for remarks about Hillary Clinton that he now admits sounded "nasty."

Because Duncan Hunter is out........

Assuming any actual Republicans are voting for McCain -- or for liberals' new favorite candidate for us, Mike Huckabee -- this column is for you.

I've been casually taking swipes at Mitt Romney for the past year based on the assumption that, in the end, Republicans would choose him as our nominee. My thinking was that Romney would be our nominee because he is manifestly the best candidate.

These Clintons are.

You can't get rid of them.

In other news (that's not news to The Aurora) the main stream media is biased.

Journo Love for Obama

NBC's Brian Williams took to MSNBC today at noon and had this to say:
WILLIAMS: I interviewed Lee Cowan, our reporter who covers Obama, while we were out yesterday and posted the interview on the web. Lee says it's hard to stay objective covering this guy. Courageous for Lee to say, to be honest. The e-mail flood started out we caught you guys, we never did trust you. That kind of thing. I think it is a very interesting dynamic. I saw middle-aged women just throw their arms around Barack Obama, kiss him hard on the cheek and say, you know, I'm with you, good luck. And i think he feels it, too.

Hey Brian, when will you guys admit that you're also the biggest shills for algore and his global warming B.S.?

Red Is For Sissies and Commies

Growing up my mother used to have a standard response whenever I would ask for something beyond our means. A typical exchange would go a little something like this....

Me: "I want a Mongoose BMX for my birthday"

Ma Donkey: "Well spit in one hand and wish in the other and let me know which one fills up first"

Sounds harsh and it was, and it was even harsher when I would inevitably not get what I had wanted but rather something (usually in the undergarment family) that I actually needed.

However after my initial anger at the world - personified in the form of the perennial pair of celebratory socks wore off - I would get to the task at hand of making my dreams a reality.

In this instance circumventing local child labor laws and going to work at the local video arcade within two months I was the proud owner of not just any run of the mill BMX but hells bells a chromed out Supergoose with pimped out Z rims.

Looks like the ol' biddy knew what she was doing after all.

Now the reason that I bring this up is not to be your typical drunken Paddy waxing nostalgic about his poor old dead mother or to be a big shot boasting that my bike was cooler than yours (it was) but rather because that I was recently involved in a political discussion with my in-laws by proxy about the current crop of numbskulls aka the Presidential candidates and I had to break out the ol' nugget.

Now if you are familiar with this blog and some of its past baseball themed incarnations you are aware that I speak of a family divided not just by designated hitter rule but the dumbed down media created color lines of blue staters v. red staters.

So I went about my bizness of soundly thumping all arguments like a pre-prosthetic Roy Munson knocking down pins during the 1979 Odor-Eaters Championship for each and every one of the candidates by using their own words and policies past present and future, in other words I used facts to formulate my opinions and winning arguments.

That is until I momentarily got stumped. Mind you, I said momentarily and it wasn’t so much the candidate but rather the supporter and his reasoning that stumped me. The Patriarch in-law is all about Obama. What the frick? Wouldnt have guessed it in a million years. Here you have an intelligent church going self made successful business owner supporting a political neophyte for the sole reason that he is “inspirational and represents change and hope”

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME

A beautiful woman is inspirational. The Slieve Cliffs of Donegal are inspirational. A Frank Zappa guitar solo is inspirational.

As a nation we should neither want hope or need our leaders to be inspirational. Now Im not saying that inspiration and hope and change and all that mumbo jumbo is bad, what Im saying is that shouldnt be the reason we hire our civil fucking servants no more than you would expect your mailman or town dog catcher to give you a warm and fuzzy feeling. Deliver the mail and catch dogs thats it.

There has to be a substance beyond them that has been sorely lacking the past few decades. As the Rhino is known to say "don't talk about it, be about it"

Saying you're about "hope" and "change" isn't worth the fucking cue card that the catchphrase is written on without a plan for a course of action that to date I haven't really heard anyone talking much about.

.... and we (meaning you) the electorate are buying it hook, line, and sucker. Its a weakness based on emotion or to paraphrase me ma....

"Shit in one hand and hope in the other and see which fills first"

That my friends is the current state of our political system, on one hand you get nothing but wishful thinking/empty promises and in the other what you do get smells like shit and we have no one to blame but ourselves for it and for whichever abortion we put in the White House come November.

That's it I'm done, throwing in the towel, moving to Montana to raise dental floss.

I'm taking the blue pill.

"I know this steak doesn't exist. I know that when I put it in my mouth, the Matrix is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine years, you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss. I don't want to remember nothing. Nothing. You understand? I want to be rich. You know, someone important, like an actor."

QUOTE

"The circumstances that endanger the safety of nations are infinite, and for this reason no constitutional shackles can wisely be imposed on the power to which the care of it is committed. "
-- Alexander Hamilton (Federalist No. 23, 17 December 1787)
