Hey Algore!
Why is it that you never seem to mention these guys when you're demonizing the polluters? Could it be you have some reason to avoid bringing them up? Come to think of it, i don't hear hillary mentioning them either...... Oh that's right.

Bush Legacy, Bush Failure
Some people believe George W Bush's legacy is Iraq, and depending on how you feel about it you believe he is a success or a failure. Some think it's too early to decide with the complete outcome of the war still in doubt.
I disagree. I believe W's presidency is a failure but not because of Iraq which i have supported from the start, or because of the economy which had done extremely well contrary to what you read in the NY Slimes.
THIS is Bush's failure!

Dumb
At the end of the day, the thing that really ticks me off about the media is not so much the liberal slant but rather the sheer stupidity displayed on a daily basis by those whose charge it is to inform the public of the nation's happenings.
Case in point.....
The reporting of the recent tiger mauling in San Francisco which is no doubt a tragedy (unless the victim was Peta) but what gets my goat is the constant reference to the animal's "violent history".
OK fuckos, I've got a newsflash for you....
Its a WILD FUCKING ANIMAL.
Killing and eating shit is what it does. It doesn't have a violent history it has an intrinsic violent nature and putting it in a cage doesn't change that.
Like Andy Capp was fond of saying... "those that know the least, usually know it the loudest". That pretty much sums up the overwhelming majority of journalists right there.
The real crime here is the over-zealous police force killing an animal for the crime of doing what it was born to do. What's next? 5-0 are going to shoot me for being handsome and charming???
Maybe I'm a bad guy but I'm of the opinion that just like you have no one to blame for getting hit by a foul ball at a baseball game don't be surprised if the wild animal that is entertaining you goes ahead and bites your head off.
As John Stearns screamed during the 2000 NLCS after Mike Piazza hit a game breaking double...
THE MONSTER IS OUT OF THE CAGE!!!

QUOTE
"The deliberate union of so great and various a people in such a place, is without all partiality or prejudice, if not the greatest exertion of human understanding, the greatest single effort of national deliberation that the world has ever seen."

Well We Asked Everyone We Know!
ABC News Global Warming Reporter Bill Blakemore reported on August 30, 2006: “After extensive searches, ABC News has found no such [scientific] debate” on global warming. (LINK)

Who's Next?
Person of the Year? What is the criteria? How many political adversaries do you have to imprison to qualify? How many private oil companies do you have to take over for the state in order to be on the list? How many ethnic Georgians do you have to terrorize and kill to be considered? How much freedom do you have to take away before you can win this thing?
If they came to me tomorrow i would tell them no thanks, i'm not interested in being in the same category as this guy, or for that matter this guy!

Consensus Is For Suckers
"Here's exactly the problem that availability cascades pose: What if the heads being counted to certify an alleged "consensus" arrived at their positions by counting heads?" baaah

Surpised? Not Us!
A firefighter who reported finding a knotted rope and a threatening note with a drawing of a noose in an East Baltimore station house last month had placed the items there himself, city officials said yesterday.
Still not a peep from Columbia University though.
