i'm with you, rhino, i don't really care to delve into what people do with regard to their private sexual matters. however, in this case, rudy used his highly public position to humiliate not only his 2nd wife, donna hanover, but caused (as i have read) extreme, extreme pain to his children (to wit, his daughter caroline has now taken her mother's last name and his son publically derides his father).
is there a difference here between what clinton did and giuliani did? well, in the end, and on the surface, we can say that clinton has an 'intact' family and his daughter, Chelsea, has never derided him publically (as reagan's children did as well).
i'm not defending clinton here, just drawing a distinction, so hold your fire on how 'liberals' defend him.

anita, i think you actually ARE defending him. To answer your question, is there a difference? Yes, Clinton is accused of RAPING some of those women and for sure he used his position as Gov. to have the state troopers cover it up. Now you might say that these people were part of the vast right wing conspiracy, but there's too much evidence that he is a dirt bag to deny that at least some of it must be true. What he did was a lot worse than what Rudy did. Rudy was cheating on his wife and covering it up.
Clintons family is intact because his wife wants to be president.
The Reagan thing is completely different and isn't in the same discussion.

Listen the sexual escapades of another are of no concern to me. Truth be told there hasnt been a woman that I have dated that I havent cheated on so by no means am I any moral judge but the fact remains that in Clintons case it underlies an overwhelming pattern of bold faced lying.
The man has issues with the truth simple as that, look no further than his recent statement about Iraq, a country that for the record he himself bombed as President and sadly its apologists like Anita that have enabled him to rise from the ashes of a disgraced Presidency to acheive a god like status amongst liberals for no other reason than his reinforcement in their belief off zero personal accountability. He got away with it and they worship him for it.
However the fact is that they are both bad guys simply for the fact that I as a nobody can pull better looking bitches than those two and that is what I consider an abuse of their power... not abusing it properly to knock out a flock of playboy bunnies.
