You don't want to judge Christ by Christians, someone once said. He is perfect, they are not.
In a similar way you don't want to judge capitalism by capitalists, or the legitimacy of democracy by the Democrats, or the vitality of our republic by the Republicans. You have to take the thing pure and in itself, while allowing for the flaws and waywardness of its practitioners.

Considering that Peggy digs me, it pains me to say... but thats just about the stupidest fucking opening paragraph Ive read in a long time.
That being said, I'll still throw her a bang.
I liked the opening paragraph but i thought she missed the boat completely on the iranian president.
speaking at the un and being invited by a universtity are 2 different things.
she's dead on about politicians being pussies and not wanting to be challenged. I've been saying for years i can beat any of the libs in a debate because their argument is fundamentally flawed. of course thats why they only do debates with the commies.
