It is "just" free speech, and thus protected under the First Amendment. We dont need Congress getting involved in petty shit like this, whats next? A bill proposing Miller Lite tastes great, or maybe less filling depending on who is in control. Its a dangerous precedent and I dont like it one bit

If the General feels as if he was slandered, well then he has legal avenues to explore and if the Federalis think that the ad was treasonous, well then bring them up on charges but this nanny state baby shit shows just what a joke Congress is, and by joke I dont mean funny haha but rather in the Aristrocrats disgusting and vile kind of way.
If anything what should be looked into is the Times discriminatory practice of charging higher rates to conservative advertisers.
