We are winning the war against terrorism, as yet another attack has been thwarted. However just as the Fenian bomber warned Thatcher after a near miss assassination attempt.... "remember, we only have to be lucky once" we too must remain as vigilant in our defense against those that have declared jihad upon us.
... and here's a thought.
We are killing more of them then they us, we are stopping more attacks than succeed, we have them running from cave to cave cross-dressing in burkas and resorting to using women children and radio controlled devices to fight us... so in other words, one could say that they are stuck in the muck of a quagmire, if you will.
Where is their cut-n-run crowd? Where is the call for appeasement and surrender from their anti-war contingent? The marches on Mecca? Where are the front page headlines on al-jazeera declaring the jihad un-winnable as they trumpet in bold letters the historic 20,000th dead terrorist?

a prerequisite for being a terrorist is wanting to destroy the US (in this case), so our enemy, by definition cannot be anti-war.
and no one with any credibility says we shouldn't fight terrorists, and everyone thinks the federal govt is, in general, doing good work in fighting them.
the disagreement is over tactics, not over whether we're in fact winning or whether we should be fighting.
Actually in this instance the pre-requisite for being a terrorist is to be moslem, radical certainly, but moslem none the less, and by and large the "moderate" religion and nations of islam have been silent in their condemnation of their barbarity.
