Kick Off Your Thursday Shoes

Personal positions aside as a matter of pragmatism I am retracting my call for the resignation of Sen. Fred Astaire.

If it is indeed true as I believe it to be that all politicians are dirtbags then politically speaking I will no longer hold one party to a higher standard than the other.

If Barney Frank can run a gay brothel and Bill Clinton can cop some mouth in the Oval Office, which technically is the most public of all places in the land, and still be allowed retain their office, then fuck it so should Sen. Kevin Bacon

..... and as an interesting tidbit.

Why didn't the sting operation that snared Sen. Gregory Hines include the women's restroom? You think it has anything to do with the fact that they were targeting gay males?

So then....

Profiling works.

Now if only we could get the Dems to support that same exact tactic in Mosques that call for the death to America with as much zeal as they seem to take going after GOP's playing twinkle-toes we can get down to the business of protecting our Country.

Of course its a good point, it was mine.

....yet we cant arrest moslem men chanting allah akbar on planes without the ACLU getting in a tizzy.

However if anything this Craig guy shouldve been forced out for his Janet Jackson impersonation calling Clinton a naughty nasty boy... cuz that shit just werent right.

Trivia question: what do Larry Craig, Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham have in common? Apart from being Republican senators?

Donkeyhue said...

Lemme guess....

They are all about to be slandered by you because yours is a political ideology of hatred and intolerance?

That about right?

Miss Carnivorous said...

Exactly, O, Gary is always calling Republicans gay as if being gay was a baaaaddd thing. He sounds like a homophobe and we all know that homophobes are gay. That means that Gary is gay.

gary said...

I'm against anti-gay gay-bashing gays. Like the 3 senators I mentioned.

Its funny how an entire politcal movement was created by the liberal left... Moveon.org about how its "only sex" when it was their guy yet they continually play the gotcha game if its a conservative.

No doubt its fucked up if some dude is banging dudes and has a wife and kids (mas chicas for me sayeth the donk)but its no more hypocritcal then the systematic persecution of homosexuals (if republican) that the liberals embark on.

... and Gary we dont do baseless personal attacks here, they may or may not be gay but please explain how they are "gay bashers"?

As expected, you have nothing.

Just like yesterday you accuse me of racism because I point out how Hillary Clinton is in bed with shady Chinese donors, today its that republicans are homophobes because I imagine you will counter with that they dont support gay marriage... well neither do the dems so as always you have no point, just finger pointing.

(why the delete A?)

Rhino-itall said...

Good analysis by miss c. Gary is gay...... not that there's anything wrong with that....fag.

Donkeyhue said...

Ok fuck it I gotta tell the gay bash story...

Rhino's brother and a few of his longisland goofball friends were roaming the streets of the west village or some other fruitcake hood when a car load of frat boy types jumped out of a car and cracked one of them in the head with a golf club as they hurled gay slurs left and right. Problem was that not only are his brother and friends not gay, theyre kind of bad ass mofos and proceeded to kick the fucking shit out of these guys up and down the street as drag queens trannies nancy boys and the such chimed in with cheap shots of their own.

Funnier story if you know the characters involved esp the guy that got lit up with the 8 iron, but it still cracks me up.

gary said...

It's not just gay marriage. Larry Craig always voted against gay issues. He has a 100% rating from the Christian Coalition. Why is it that these people always turn out to be the biggest gays.

Donkeyhue said...

Ok... can you name the other issues or are you just regurgitating what you read on the Kos. Ill save you the hassle of googling, the other was against hate crimes which I am in full agreement with. Its typical divisive liberal politics. If a homo kicked my ass its just a crime?, but when I fuck him up its a "hate crime"? Even you must see how intrinsically wrong and unfair that is, same goes with race. His sexuality aside that does not make him a homphobe.

If you cant then there is no point continuing this conversation.

... but more importantly isnt your attitude against the Christian Coalition as bad if not worse then his against gays, afterall his arguments morality aside can be based on legal arguments whereas yours as always is contingent on hate bigotry and intolerance.

You really do need to grow up and move on from the name calling... fag!

Rhino-itall said...

The guy that got the 8 iron is now NYPD and a lifelong friend who traveled with donkey and I to the DR once.

Good times.... good times......

gary said...

Anyway, I'm sure that we can both agree that Senator Craig's career is in the toilet.

i've heard the rumours about lindsay graham (and dennis hastert by the way). but i got confused because i heard at one point that graham was dating the o.donkey crush, laura ingraham. so there you go. make of that what you will.

you're saying the dems are at fault here for calling craig on the hypocrisy issue. but it seems that the republicans are the ones who are really piling it on the guy, romney in particular, and the party in general by removing him from all his committeeships and urging him to resign his seat.

i think the issue is more that the republicans have wrapped themselves in this mantle of purity and strict family values and because of that people are holding them to their word. and they are failing badly.

and their anti-gay stance is totally illogical. these guys are so closeted it's kind of sad. and in the world they travel, they are prevented them from expressing themselves, being who they are. the repression is massive, obviously. at least that complete asshole mcgreevy is a democrat so he was able to come out. (remember, "i am a gay american" ... well goody for you dude, then you go live with your rich boyfriend and leave your wife and kids in the dust!!!)

i saw gary bauer on chris matthews yesterday and he kept repeating the word "disgusting" with regard to what seemed to be any sexual activity that didn't have the woman in a burka and the man with his eyes closed. in that case, what was disgusting was gary bauer, not larry craig.

Donkeyhue said...

Im sure that makes you very happy Gary.

but...

If that is true then we both must also agree that it is only because Republicans have a higher standard.

Just to name a few notables,

Kennedy: killed a woman, still in office

Byrd: Klan recruiter, still in office

Frank: housed a gay underage brothel, still in office.

Jefferson: 90K marked bills in fridge, still in office

While it may be true that just as man is flawed there are hypocrites in the GOP, then it is also true that you and your filthy ilk have no ethics at all to be hypocrtical of to begin with.

Rhino.... my man just back from the DR and Im happy to report that the statue of me is still in place and las chicas are still singing songs about me in the cantinas, especially the smoking hot one-legged broad.

gary said...

I think that Jefferson should leave office if convicted. Ted Kennedy drove off a bridge by accident and it probably cost him the Presidency. There has got to be a statute of limitations on being in the Klan and it's passed. Barney Frank was cleared as I recall.

Meanwhile you continue to defend the most corrupt administration in history.

Donkeyhue said...

Anita you make some good points but also in a way prove just how tolerant a nation we have become. Old gay dudes like Gary and Craig aside the newer generations arent closeting themselves as they once did, and that can only be a good thing and perhaps cut down on the number of pedophiles that enter the church and what have you and other positive side effects. Not to mention cutting down on std's as these guys catch stuff like aids from the steamrooms pass it to their wifes as they force out the prerequsite 2 campaign kids and they then in turn pass it along to guys like me that are only trying to do a good deed by servicing neglected housewives.

....but Im curious as to how you think that the conservative position on homosexuality issues such as marriage and hate crime is illogical? Of the two parties, Kucinich aside, the gops seem to be the only one with any sort of consistency.

Gary,
The accident might have been an accident, if you consider DWI an accident but the coverup certainly wasnt.

Statue of limitations for the Klan? Then why do libs still harp on slavery and why did James Earl Ray die in prison? Thats just stupid.

Barney Frank may have been "cleared" but the fact remains he housed a gay brothel of which his lover was not cleared.

You really do talk out of both sides of your ass, and I almost feel bad for you that not only are you wrong on most things, its kind of pathetic that you dont even believe it yourself.

gary said...

Why did James Earl Ray die in prison? He was convicted of murder. (Although there was a conspiracy.)

And stop talking about my ass, you fag.

Miss Carnivorous said...

There is no such fucking thing as "gay issues." A gay issue would be how to stop gay men from spreading vile and deadly diseases amongst themselves. Other than that they are no different than anyone else, the laws should apply across the board to everyone. Bashing anyone is bad, regardless of "sexual orientation."

Craig was not doing guys in restrooms because he could not marry a man. He was doing guys in the bathroom because it was fun.
