In an effort to repair relations between The Aurora and Canada (although we steadfastly stand by our South Park conservative stance of Screw Canada!) we would like to offer a maple branch to our moose loving neighbors to the north by honoring one of their fallen sons. May the era of detente begin.Coinciding with his birthday of October 31, 1950 we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate (in my opinion) Canada's greatest export....None other than the man himself John Candy. Pound for pound (and that's a lot of tonnage) one of the greatest comedically adept actors to ever walk the planet, a modern day Roscoe Arbuckle if you will, who had the uncanny ability to make the effortless transition from role player to sidekick to leading man.
