The Old Gray Lady Is A Who - Ore

Once again the Brits have shown us the way. It seems the nyx credo of "all the news fit to print", should be changed to "all the news that will aid terrorists is fit to print only if we wont get in any trouble".

Next time the slimes reveals classified info in the "public interest" we must hunt down the louis leaker and execute them for the traitor that they are and immediately try the nyx for sedition.

Kick em in the grill Pete.

Is it just me or does it seem like CNN never experiences "technical difficulties" when a Democrat is speaking. Wayne's World broadcast from the Campbell's basement in Aurora, Illinois was better run than the Clinton News Network. Theyre not worthy.

John Kerry Hates Black People

Okay, maybe hates a strong word, let me rephrase it. John Kerry hates black Republicans and thinks black Republican leaders such as Ken Blackwell, the GOP Secretary of State are corrupt Uncle Toms. As far as regular black folks are concerned he, like most liberals, thinks they are stupid, as is evidenced by how easily they were disenfranchised in Ohio during the 2004 Presidential election (a state Kerry did not contest).

Once again liberals show their true racist colors by being the big Honky Hero and coming to the defense of the poor helpless African-Democrat-Americans. The democrat party is the party of discrimination, the party of racist rhetoric, the party of intolerance. If thats not the case then why pray tell is every Black conservative villified? Dems are for the advancement of colored people if and only if they vote democrat, and that seems to be more of a self-interest for party preservation to me than any real concern for the rights of minorities.

Ive lived in a country where I was the minority, I was the guy people crossed the street to avoid, that made scared women clutch their purse on the subway and Ill tell ya this much, I didnt like em but I almost respected the people that called me a donkey to my face (then I had to stab them of course) than those that would blow smoke up me arse and tell dirty paddy jokes behind my back.

That's what I'm saying

And in fact i did say it in my "Man behind the Curtain" post, but i think Mr. Novak says it better.

WASHINGTON -- The background of a federal district court declaring President Bush's national security eavesdropping unconstitutional was a conservative's fantasy. The judge, a former Democratic politician and civil rights activist, wrote what read more like a political manifesto than a judicial opinion. What's more, she was responsible for contributions to an organization that was a plaintiff in the case she decided.

The Morning After

Put aside your feelings about abortion for a minute. In fact, forget about whether or not you even think the "morning after" pill is abortion. Lets look at this thing objectively if we can.

About a week ago the FDA approved these pills for over the counter sales to anyone 18 years of age or older. How does this make sense? Consider that birth control pills can't be sold without a prescription and these pills are just super powerful versions of those. Does this seem right?
In March the FDA announced that two more women died after taking RU-486 (morning after pill) which brings us to 7 women known to have died from taking this pill. In December the FDA announced that there have been 607 "adverse events" (source IBD) from women who took this pill. Did anyone hear about that? I'm wondering why there haven't been any lawsuits against the "greedy drug companies" that are making these pills.

I wonder if a man or woman over 18 gives the pills to a 17 year old, are they contributing to the delinquency of a minor? I predict a lot of unforseen consequences from this new drug and new law, and none of them will be positive. More deaths, more disease, more children born out of wedlock, lawsuits etc. and it will be women who pay the biggest price.

Godspeed President Gerald Ford to a healthy and full recovery from your recent angioplasty surgery. I have taken the liberty to write an Irish style limerick to lift your spirits. Get well Mr President you have displayed class and dignity fitting of a former President that has unfortunately not been seen in recent years.

The Shake Heard Round The World

One thing you need to understand about me is that I despise lines. Absolutely frickin hate them. If I cant circumvent them or finagle my way to the front, then Id rather just avoid them altogether and walk away. Wouldnt matter if they were giving away free bottles of Tulla, ok for that maybe I wait. Point is I dont like lines.

That being said, this was the second time in my life that I intentionally went out of my way and purposely put myself in a position where Id be waiting in a line to get a book signed. What was the first book you ask, ok maybe you didnt ask but Im telling you anyway. It was called "
Cinderella Story" by Bill Murray. A funny (what ya expect its Bill Murray) little anecdotal book about golf and brotherhood.

The second is "State of Emergency" by (some would say my mancrush) Patrick J Buchanan. Considering that I first became a fan when I was fifteen years old and he was instrumental in my early interest in politics, I will not dignify those twisted perverted individuals with a response.

Its about the massive wave of illegal immigration from south of the border (no not the rest stop at the Carolina border) the harm its causing and what needs to be done to stop it. This isnt a Republican or a Democrat issue. Its an American issue, and our very cultural sovereignty is at risk.

What can I say, my boy Buchanan is wicked smart. Ive yet to start this book as I plan to read it during the short vacation I have planned this weekend, but if the previous books Ive read of his are any indication I fully expect this one to be researched thoroughly, articulate, well thought out and dead balls right.

Like I said Ive followed his career for twenty some odd years and have supported him in each of his Presidential runs but as Ed Koch once said...

"If you agree with me on nine out of twelve issues, then vote for me. If you agree with me on twelve out of twelve issues, then see a shrink."

Well I dont agree with everything Buchanan says or stands for, but I proudly consider myself a Buchananite. Ive voted for him before and Id vote for him again. Whadda ya say Pat...fourth time a charm?

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain

So the judge who decided in favor of the ACLU against the U.S. government in the wiretapping case has donated tens of thousands of dollars to the ACLU. Gee, i wonder how this case happened to land in her court room, and more importantly, i wonder why she didn't recuse herself from the case? Oh that's right, this is how the liberals get what they want, they know the country won't elect them if they actually tell you what they want so they get the judiciary to do their dirty work for them.

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and judicial abuse, announced today that Judge Anna Diggs Taylor, who last week ruled the government’s warrantless wiretapping program unconstitutional, serves as a Secretary and Trustee for a foundation that donated funds to the ACLU of Michigan, a plaintiff in the case (ACLU et. al v. National Security Agency). Judicial Watch discovered the potential conflict of interest after reviewing Judge Diggs Taylor’s financial disclosure statements.

You Cruise You Lose

We here at The Aurora dont make a habit of defending celebrities but recent circumstances have arisen that mandates that we throw our two bucks in.

This is especially difficult for me considering that Tom Cruise attended a rival high school of mine, is a religious cultist, and by all accounts completely bat shit crazy.

However the fact remains that the guy is the film version of Hall and Oates, in the sense that neither were the most artistically gifted or critically acclaimed yet be damned they were HIT MAKERS. The guy has made some great movies, but then again my tastes lean towards the T-n-T and T-n-A variety so maybe Im not the most qualified opinion of cinema excellence (say that last phrase in French accent to experience the full snobbery).

I couldnt care less about scientology or baby Suri or whether he quit or was fired from his stu stu studio (in Phil Collins voice for full effect), blow some shit up and throw some babes in bikinis on cigarette boats intermittedly and Ive got my ten bucks worth, and thats what he does best.

If you indict Tom Cruise, you indict Hollywood, and that is why they fear him and must destroy him. What does it say about the rest of them when the biggest action star of all time who has remained relatively scandal free (closet talk aside) up until recently is revealed to be absolutely and utterly insane and full of shite.

The house of cards is falling, and that is why we at The Aurora will take a pro-Tom Cruise stand to once again expose the hypocrisy of Hollywood.

..or maybe its just about the money.

Point of No Return

By Thomas Sowell
Tuesday, August 22, 2006

It is hard to think of a time when a nation -- and a whole civilization -- has drifted more futilely toward a bigger catastrophe than that looming over the United States and western civilization today.
Nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran and North Korea mean that it is only a matter of time before there are nuclear weapons in the hands of international terrorist organizations. North Korea needs money and Iran has brazenly stated its aim as the destruction of Israel -- and both its actions and its rhetoric suggest aims that extend even beyond a second Holocaust.
Send not to know for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee.
This is not just another in the long history of military threats. The Soviet Union, despite its massive nuclear arsenal, could be deterred by our own nuclear arsenal. But suicide bombers cannot be deterred.

cont'd here

So What Would YOU Do?

I heard Paul Begala on the Imus in the morning show today. He was railing against the president as usual, everything the president has ever done is wrong, was wrong, will be wrong etc. So after about 5 minutes of his ranting, Imus asked him:

"if clinton was still president, and you were still advising him, what would you advise him to do?"

Begala's answer: "I don't know"

Imus: "So maybe then we should lighten up on the president"

Begala: "no, because (Bush is hitler etc.)

What then should we do? Bush has a plan, might not be perfect, but it's a plan. The dems plan??

I read the other day that Joe Biden said he doesn't think Walmart cares about middle class Americans. Putting aside for a minute the absurdity of the whole statement, what does joe biden suggest we do about this? what can he or any other politician do about it?????
Why attack the single largest private employer in the country? What purpose does that serve? The average employee at walmart makes almost twice the minimum wage ($10 per hr.) so what is the problem?
Ned Lamont won the dem. primary in connecticut running against the war. So what is his solution??
These people have no ideas.
So you're sick of the republican party being in control of congress and the white house, but whats the alternative???

State Of Emergency

Not to be confused with the Genesis song Land Of Confusion, although a parallel could be drawn between the two. No, what Im talking about is none other than my main man Patrick J Buchanan's new book of the same name as the title of this post. It deals exclusively with the issue of the illegal invasion of crimmigrants © of The United States Of America . You can say a lot of things about PJB, but stupid aint one of 'em, and whether you are in agreement or not, his arguments are articulate rife with logic and always well thought out. Check it out, all the cool kids are. Buchanan

Idiots

and if you need and explanation why, then i feel sorry for you.

“My problem with Wal-Mart is that I don’t see any indication that they care about the fate of middle-class people,” Mr. Biden said, standing on the sweltering rooftop of the State Historical Society building here. “They talk about paying them $10 an hour. That’s true. How can you live a middle-class life on that?”

U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor in Detroit became the first judge to strike down the National Security Agency's program, which she says violates the rights to free speech and privacy.

I don't think that Israel has any legal or moral justification for their massive bombing of the entire nation of Lebanon. What happened is that Israel is holding almost 10,000 prisoners, so when the militants in Lebanon or in Gaza take one or two soldiers, Israel looks upon this as a justification for an attack on the civilian population of Lebanon and Gaza. I do not think that's justified, no. (former president j. carter)

The Associated Press reports that the elderly correspondent(mike wallace) said of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, "He's an impressive fellow, this guy. He really is. He's obviously smart as hell." Wallace also remarked, "I expected more of a firebrand. I don't think he has the slightest doubt about how he feels ... about the American administration and the Zionist state. He comes across as more rational than I had expected."

The ACLU Hates America Part 27

If there has ever been any doubt that the ACLU is an anti-American organization look no further than their lawsuit against the town of Hazelton, PA. The towns crime you ask? Well they actually had the audacity to start enforcing a crazy thing called laws (but Im just a caveman, your world frightens and confuses me), mainly regarding the illegal invasion of their town and the drain on taxpayers dollars that has ensued. Mayor Lou Barletta explains how the influx of criminals "has increased crime, overburdened schools and hospitals, and eroded the quality of life in the town of some 31,000 people." That aint racism, and it aint xenophobic paranoia thats doing his job, the numbers dont lie. And once again the ACLU is using the age old liberal tactic of accusing their extortion victim of not being nice, or as Omar Jadwat, an attorney for the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project, said in a statement.

"This mean-spirited law is wrong for many reasons but the most obvious is that the city does not have the power to make its own immigration laws," Omar Jadwat, an attorney for the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project, said in a statement.

Actually Omar yes they do, and what about the "civil liberties" of the legal residents that are funding the criminal activities of the illegal immigrants.

Words That Start With The Letter S

Im trying to come up with a new catchphrase for liberals in the same vein that denigrated McGovern with the catchy dance tune "acid, amnesty, and abortion"

Now being a conservative aka "a nazi" coming up with the new letter for the new millenniumum wasnt all that difficult. Of course it had to be S, the problem is I can only come up with two, leaving me with SS.

Heres where you come in. I need your help with the Third Rei..I mean the third S.

Heres what Ive got so far...

"Surrender, Same Sex Marriage, and __________"

Its kind of like the old 70's Match Game with Charles Nelson Reilly, except not really at all. Its probably more like the Ghostbusters having to pick their own demise at the hands of Gozer.

Any and all suggestions are welcome, the only rule is that it does have to start with an S.

"Israel humbled by arms from Iran"

That's a headline this morning that i saw on Drudge.

What?! You see this is the problem with these islamonazi's. They don't look at this as a cease fire, they look at it like a victory. They don't understand mercy, they are evil people.

Here's the problem as i see it. We have been at war with these animals for over 25 years, but we didn't start fighting back until after 9/11. This is an enemy that doesn't negotiate, and doesn't desire peace. They can't be reasoned with and they can't be placated. We need to destroy them, not for the sake of Israel, but for our own sake.

How do we do this? Well i'm not an expert, but it seems to me that we're on the right track in Iraq. I know a lot of people don't agree with me, but we can't kill all the cockroaches, we need to destroy their homes, their funding, their safe zones. Iran should be next, and then probably Syria.

Israel's reality is that they live every day with the threat of terrorism. If we don't stay on the offensive that will eventually be our reality too.

Cease Fire?

The following is an email i got from a friend of mine (and donkeyhue's) from Moscow who is very upset about the recent developments in the Israeli - Lebanese conflict. I was going to do a post on the cease fire myself, but i think this email says it all.

hate to say it bro......

..but Israel just lost its first war ever. Maybe its a technical draw, but come on, we can all admit that they didn't come out of this one looking too great. Meanwhile, Hezbollah looks like the Rocky of the Islamic world. Now in addition to a few thousand cocky Hezbollah fighters at their border, Israel can face the prospect of having 15,000 Lebanese troops (50% Shiite) and a few thousand UN soldiers (100% p**sy). That's who I want my neighbors to be.

By all accounts, the morale of the soldiers was high. They knew they had a tough job ahead of them, but wanted to keep fighting. So did Israeli citizens. Then what the hell was Olmert thinking when he agreed to a cease fire that doesn't even get the two captured Israeli soldiers back? Not only were the deaths of over 100 IDF servicemen in vain, but that entire bombing campaign, whose goal was to ostensibly paralyze Lebanese infrastrucure and trap Hezbollah in the south, was all for nothing too. War is war, but if you're going to agree to a ceasefire like that, why go and mess an entire country up?

I'm pretty pissed off about this, as you can imagine.

Me too brother, me too.....

So how did these terroritsts in London get caught? Well lets see, listening in on telephone conversations, and tracking their banking records. Where have i heard of these things before?

They Hate America They Really Really Do

Are these frickin libs serious? Its very difficult to not think these partisan hacks really do hate America. How else do you explain the reaction of Kerry, Reid et al to the most recent success in the War on Terror by foiling the targeting of innocent civilians through a global coalition between the Pakis, the Brits and Uncle Sam.. Where is the outrage for the intended violations of innocent airline passenger rights? (...and notice how these p#ssies never attack military targets?) Oh thats right, their outrage is being directed at Bush and Iraq. I swear I think the dems wont be happy until the cowardly camel banging terrorists strike again, just so they can say I told you so. Pathetic.

Collision Course

This is the transcript of the ACTUAL radio conversation between the British and the Irish, off the coast of Kerry, Oct 00. Radio conversation released by the Chief of Naval Operations 10-10-00:

IRISH: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the South, to avoid a collision.

BRITISH: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the North, to avoid a collision.

IRISH: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to South to avoid a collision.

BRITISH: This is the Captain of a British navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course.

IRISH: Negative. I say again, You will have to divert YOUR course.

BRITISH: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER HMS BRITIANNIA! THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE BRITISH ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYER THREE CRUISERS, AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH, I SAY AGAIN, THAT IS 15 DEGREES NORTH, OR COUNTER-MEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP.

IRISH: We are a lighthouse fer fooks sake. Your call.

Yup, that about sums it up..

In Tuesday's primary, Connecticut Democrats dumped Joe Lieberman, an 18-year incumbent, because he supports the war on terrorism. This is the same Joe Lieberman who voted against all the Bush tax cuts, against banning same-sex marriage, against banning partial-birth abortion, against the confirmation of Judge Alito, against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and in favor of the Kyoto accords. Oh yes, this was also the same Joe Lieberman who was the Democrats' own vice presidential candidate six years ago. Despite all this, Connecticut Democrats preferred stalwart anti-war candidate Ned Lamont, great-nephew of Corliss Lamont, WASP plutocrat fund-raiser for Stalin. Lamont's main political asset is that he is a walking, breathing argument in favor of a massive inheritance tax. His plan for fighting the terrorists is to enact a single-payer government health plan and universal pre-K education programs. His goal is to unite the "cut" and "run" wings of his party into one glorious coalition.

It had to be Said

An open letter to Pat Buchanan By Burt Prelutsky
Monday, August 7, 2006

Pat Buchanan, not satisfied merely looking like a Herblock depiction of a bigot, a man who never allows an opportunity to slam Israel slip through his fingers, has been on a rampage because Israel has finally gone after the murderous thugs and sadists of Hezbollah.
The fact that the terrorists don’t wear uniforms means that every time the Israelis kill one of them, Buchanan and his ilk get to insist that Israel is targeting civilians. Buchanan’s concern for civilians isn’t nearly so evident when it’s Jews who are targeted by Hamas, Hezbollah, and the PLO’s suicide bombers.
One of the sillier things Israel has done in recent years was to fall for the land for peace con game. They surrendered territory and any number of settlements as a gesture of good will. Good will gestures made to terrorists and tyrants are the height of folly and cowardice, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s the Arabs or Adolf Hitler. Offer your hand to the tiger and don’t expect him to stop nibbling when he gets to your wrist.
Because Israel plays such a prominent role in the news and because it’s managed, against all odds, to survive for 58 years, one can easily over-estimate its actual place in the world. The fact of the matter is that unless you were at the top of your geography class, you’d be hard-pressed to find it on your globe. To give you a clear idea of what Israel is up against, keep in mind that there are 22 countries in the Arab League. The League encompasses 5,200,000 square miles; Israel was 8,000 square miles before giving up the aforementioned turf. What’s more, there are 312 million people living in those 22 countries. Israel’s population is six million, more than a million of whom are Arabs.
So far as Buchanan and his friends are concerned, it would seem that the only thing that’s required to make Israel the jewel of the Middle East is for those five million Jews to disappear.
You have to wonder what it is about those 8,000 square miles that the Arabs covet. It’s not as if Israel sits on huge oil deposits. Why aren’t five million square miles enough? I mean, if you had five million dollars, would you cry yourself to sleep every night because you didn’t have $5,008,000?
Let’s face it—before the Jews built universities, hospitals and concert halls, and planted trees and crops, the place was nothing but 8,000 square miles of kitty litter.
So many people are happy to trumpet “No blood for oil.” How is it that we never hear them, or Mr. Buchanan, telling the Arabs, “No blood for sand”?

No Shame in His Game?

As I document in MuscleHead Revolution, Judith Levine, the academic who released the book, Harmful to Minors: The Perils of Protecting Children from Sex, argues that it is harmful to protect children from sexual activity. As I point out, she goes so far as to encourage adults to not think prudishly about sexual activity between adults and children. She even advocates for the "rights" of children to be able to "give their consent" for "legal" and "healthy" sexual activity with adults.
One might think that Levine is just a nutcase, except that she was published by the University of Minnesota Press. Her book was endorsed by Dr. Jocelyn Elders who also wrote its forward. Elders was the Clinton era, surgeon general.

Ned Lamont Hates Black People

Ive already one of the many examples here of how Democrats hate black people.

I will let Malkin handle this one.

Reeling from the idiotic blackface stunt pulled by his close blogger confidante, Jane Hamsher, yesterday, Lamont actually told News Channel 8's Jamie Muro this:

Its Not The Iraq War Stupid

I almost feel dirty paraphrasing the hillbilly for the title but I will make amends with plenty of dem bashing to follow.

The Democrats arent stupid, they do what they do very well. Unfortunately for the disenchanted rank and file, winning elections isnt their forte. For emphasis...

THE DEMS WILL NOT GAIN CONTROL OF THE CONGRESS.

Staking their future on the Iraq War is a loser, and Ill tell you why. Polls be damned, portraying yourself as the anti war party is pompous at best and ignorantly naive at worst. The assertion that anyone is pro war betrays both human nature as well as that of the nature of war.

It bears repeating but war is indeed hell, and to summarize it with the usual "No blood for oil" "our troops are terrorizing innocents" or "we are worse than Pol Pot and Ghengis Khan" catchphrases..wait I almost forgot the classic "Bush is Hitler" as I was saying it truly shows a complete lack of regard for our troops past and present. The atrocities of war do not discriminate between just and unjust wars. The dems dont grasp this simple evident fact, or do they...

I am of the thinking that they do but lacking a viable plan (on this note it is indeed like Vietnam) they opt to continue their harmful rhetorific finger pointing blame game. This is where they go wrong.

Bush and Co are beatable on many issues. The war isnt one of them. Libs may think Bush is bad, but trust me on this one...islamist terrorists are worse, much worse. The average voter blue and red would agree that Iraq is a shitstorm, but at the same time has the realization that defeat or surrender are not options. Calling our troops murderous thugs doesnt go over well in middle America and certainly doesnt appeal to the elusive independent swing vote.

This may come as a surprise to new readers but I opposed this war (I am a Buchananite afterall) from the get go and battled my esteemed colleague Rhino endlessly for the same reasons I have with it today, but threw my support behind my country as soon as our young men and women set foot in the sand. Never once did I disparage my President, my Country or the troops that defend it. The dems dont understand the concept of constructive criticism or rational dissent, and for that the charges of traitorous America haters remain valid.

To make amends for my bubba quote I will now rectify by paraphrasing Mr Dave Mustaine. The problem with the dems is...

HATE IS THEIR BUSINESS AND BUSINESS SUCKS.

What? You werent expecting me to give you hippies a blueprint to beat the GOP were you? And it aint the economy jackass!

EE-Aw!
